Enter patient personal data and insurance information.
Enter all prescription information including calculations, free form directions, medication and durable medical equipment specifications.
Ensure proper documentation for transmitting information to insurance companies, reviewing profiles for appropriate billing choices.
Alert pharmacists appropriately for drug utilization reviews, calling and resolving third party rejections and rebilling claims, entering and processing refills and adding patients to Refills on Time Program.
Process medical expense reports.
Assist in the execution of all company initiatives and programs.

Purpose:
The Clinical Pharmacist manages the drug distribution and specialty pharmacy activities for a variety of patients enrolled at PANTHERx™ Rare Pharmacy. Purpose:
The Clinical Pharmacist, Fulfillment manages drug distribution and related activities for a variety of patients enrolled at PANTHERx™ Rare Pharmacy. The role safely and efficiently dispenses and ships medications, packages cold chain shipments, and follows all fulfillment processes in the pharmacy setting. The Fulfillment Pharmacist assists with mentoring newly hired staff, trains existing staff, and addresses escalated patient, prescriber, or PANTHERx leadership concerns. In addition, this role oversees pharmacy technicians and supports other roles daily.
Responsibilities:
Completes verification of prescription orders during prescription fulfillment process.
Supervises pharmacy technicians and other support staff during course of daily activities.
Assists in the development and execution of quality and production standards in the fulfillment area.
Creates and conducts staff training for new processes/process changes.
Participates in regular meetings with leadership to discuss staff needs and accomplishments.
Performs fulfillment pharmacist duties during on-call hours on a rotating basis; on-call duties may involve transporting products to and from Panther facilities.
Handles additional projects and activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy or Registered Pharmacist degree from an ACPE accredited institution.
Active and unrestricted Pharmacist Licensure for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Active and valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years as a practicing, licensed pharmacist.
2-4 years of specialty pharmacy experience.
Work Environment:
