The position is Monday - Friday: 1st shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. On-call is not a component of the position. The temporary placement pharmacist will assist and be directly supervised by the CRMHC Pharmacist. The position involves providing pharmacy services to a proportion of the CRMHC outpatient clients and all the clients on the sixteen-bed inpatient psychiatric unit. The successful candidate will have experience working with behavioral health clients, able to communicate effectively, work well with pharmacy, nursing, and medical staff, and have familiarity with word processing and pharmacy software systems (experience with a Pyxis system is preferred). What your working day will look like: * Participating in all branch processes * Building positive relationships with customers, patients, and healthcare professionals * Assisting in the delivery of pharmacy services * Serving as an ambassador for Rowlands Pharmacy, representing the company and interacting with the community on a daily basis To be considered for this role, you must have an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course, as well as a Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification. Evidence of qualifications held will be required for the successful candidate. Additionally, we are looking for candidates with experience working in a customer-focused environment, a strong understanding of confidentiality, and the ability to handle medications accurately.
