As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in manually filling prescriptions, replenishing medications for automated dispensing stations, packaging medications, and stocking packages. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient distribution of medications to retail pharmacies. Work Environment This is a newer facility with heavy automation practices, focused on preparing and packaging prescriptions for retail pharmacies to dispense to the patient. It is a fast-paced production environment requiring a high level of attention to detail. There is no customer service at this location, only Registered Pharmacy Technicians, Shipping, and Receiving. No vaccine administration or point-of-care testing is involved. The facility operates on a schedule of four 10-hour days, with shifts available from 5:45 AM to 4:15 PM and 4 PM to 2:30 AM. Qualifications Education and/or Experience: To be eligible to perform the functions and duties of a pharmacy technician, an individual must possess the following qualifications, which shall be ascertained and documented by the pharmacists that qualifies the pharmacy permit.
