MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE * Completion of Apprenticeship Program OR Journey level in subject area OR Associate's degree in related field and five years of direct occupational experience. * Occupational experience may include positions as: * Substation Electrician * Specific on the job experience in: * Troubleshooting and repair of substations. * Installation, testing and maintenance of high and medium voltage electrical equipment related to power transmission and distribution with specialization on substations. * Oversight of construction and commissioning o new equipment, routine maintenance and testing, analyzing test results, troubleshooting faulty equipment and monitoring the operation of substations. * Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagram, and technical engineering related information. * Repairing and replacing substation equipment and components. * Proficient in above and below ground equipment * NESC and NEC Electrical Safety codes * Work safely around high and medium voltage, construction operations and equipment, and electrical hazards. * Ability to work non-standard hours including evening and weekend hours Preferred Qualifications: * Previous teaching experience with adult learners is preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Mobility: Ability to move around the campus to attend meetings and events.     Join our Great Parks team as a part-time Riding Instructor at the Winton Woods Farm & Equestrian Center. At Great Parks, our team members work together to preserve and protect natural resources and to provide outdoor recreation and education in order to enhance the quality of life for present and future generations. This part-time position works various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position gives horseback riding lessons and instruction to Equestrian Center visitors, hosts horseback riding summer camps, assists in hosting onsite competitions, greets and serves guests, handles guest inquiries, drives Farm vehicles. Standard practice allows employee to proceed alone on regular duties with questionable situations referred to supervisor. Responsibilities: Performs job duties in accordance with Great Parks' policies, procedures, and performance expectations. Maintains confidentiality of confidential and sensitive information. Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and punctual attendance and works outside of normal schedule as required. Greets and serves guests to ensure satisfaction. Handles guest inquires. Assists riders on and off horse. Ensures public safety and proper treatment of the horses. Maintains clean and sanitary conditions. Opens facilities and prepares for daily business. Demonstrate accountability to schedule by avoiding missed classes and seek substitute instructors in advance. 8. Provide a fun and engaging experience for the participants. 9. Work towards meeting departmental and organizational goals. 10. The ability to be flexible and accommodating as it relates to center hours and work schedules. 11. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • High School diploma or GED preferred. • A group exercise instructor certification required. Preferably an NCCA accredited certification. • Nationally recognized NCCA Personal Trainer certification accepted for conducting strength and conditioning group fitness classes that are not licensed formats requiring a specific certification (Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Les Mills, MOSSA, BARRE, Aqua, Cycle, etc).• Certification for some specialty group exercise class instruction is required. • Minimum 2 years of experience in group class instruction, teaching a variety of styles, levels and population preferred. • CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire (provided by Power Wellness) • Must possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills, and the ability to work with members in a positive, service based manner. • Ability to multi-task and maintain a controlled and professional demeanor.
