What we are looking for SCS Energy is looking for a Full time PlantOperator, to operate and maintain (O&M) run a High BTU gas processing facility in Rochester NH. The Operators needs to have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently. This full-time position requires flexibility for on-call support, 24/7. Prior experience with gas processing equipment and rotating equipment is a plus. Tasks to include: facility operation, inspections and general maintenance, and equipment service. Operator must live in the greater Rochester, NH area.

* Assist in starting up facility and maintain facility
* Facility operation, inspections and general maintenance, and equipment service.
* Oversight of SCS and/or client subcontractors.
* Calibrate, maintain, test, troubleshoot, order and organize field equipment.

* Report field conditions and test results to supervisor and sometimes directly to the client.
* Prepare and submit daily field logs reporting data collected, field observations, actions taken, and recommended actions to be taken

Woodard & Curran is seeking a full-time Operator for the Lisbon Water Department, in Lisbon, ME. As an operator you will report to the Project Manager who will serve as the System's Primary Designated Operator. Working alongside a team of 4, you will participate in the day-to-day operations and maintenance activities of the department's drinking water treatment and distribution systems. The Lisbon Water Department's system consists of the Moody Street Treatment Plant, (4) groundwater wells-Ann Street Well, William E. Bauer Well, and (2) Moody Wells, (2) storage tanks, as well as the departments 2-zone distribution system. Each day presents different challenges and learning opportunities as we work towards maintaining 100% compliance which is achieved by daily process monitoring and a comprehensive maintenance system. Woodard & Curran is dedicated to our employees' growth and development and wants to help you on your career path The Project Manager will play an active role in coordination and communication with operations staff, client representatives, regulators, contractors, and any assigned engineering firms. He or she will also work closely with all parties to ensure effective system operation and optimization, staff development, implementation and management of an innovative predictive maintenance management program, administration and implementation of all routine and capital repair and replacement projects, and emergency response for process upsets, equipment failures, force majeure events, all alarm events, etc. He or She will regularly prepare reports for regulators, clients, and the firm. Additionally, the Project Manager will manage the budget of the project and manage the scope and schedule of contractual obligations and serve as the main point of contact between the client and the firm. Supervision will be provided by an Area Manager; however, the Project Manager must be able to work comfortably in a self-directed environment with minimal daily supervision. Work is performed in a safe and professional manner by following established safety, operating, and emergency response procedures. Our operators participate in an “on call” rotation for system coverage outside normal workday hours and shifts may include weekends. In addition, operators will be required to respond to emergency situations and work in inclement weather as needed.
Schedule: This project operates on a rotating 4 day, 10 hours per day work week. Operators work M-T 0600-1600 or T-F 0600-1600. Operators rotate a 7 day on call coverage schedule, with a $200 per week on call stipend provided. What you will need to Succeed
Must possess a minimum of a Maine Class 1 Operator-in-Training Treatment and Class 1 Operator-in-Training Distribution Operator Licenses - and possess the ability to acquire Maine Class 2 Full Treatment and Class 2 Distribution Operator Licenses the within 2 years.
1-3 years' experience in the water treatment and distribution industry preferred.
Proficiency with computers, including an ability to work with: SCADA, Microsoft Word, Excel, Maintenance Management Programs, and other site-specific systems.
Participation directly in, and to a significant extent, management of the operation, maintenance, and repair of drinking water facilities throughout the last 5 years.
Experience managing a minimum of 2 staff.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record with regulators and solid understanding of regulations and reporting requirements.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must possess a valid Maine driver's license.
May require an irregular work schedule and overtime hours.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, other personnel, and the general public.
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
Familiarity with water treatment and distribution system processes with aptitude for laboratory analysis, record keeping, and facility maintenance.
Must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check, pre-placement physical and drug screen before employment.

Responsibilities include:
* Monitor water treatment plant and distribution processes and equipment both manually and via SCADA automation, making
adjustments as necessary to control their operation.
* Perform water quality sampling, testing, and analysis to determine compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
* Operate, maintain, control, and perform routine repair of plant equipment, including preventive maintenance duties.
* Utilize software programs for maintenance work orders and maintain all necessary records.
* Perform general maintenance duties of plant and other assigned duties.
Schedule:
This project operates on a rotating 4 day, 10 hours per day work week.
Operators work M-TH 0600-1600 or T-F 0600-1600. Operators rotate a 7 day on call coverage schedule, with a $200 per week on call stipend provided once you have obtained your treatment license.
What you will need to Succeed
* No operator licenses are required to apply. We welcome candidates who are motivated to grow in the field and have the ability to become licensed. Preference will be given to those who already hold a Maine Class I Operator-in-Training Treatment and/or Class I Operator-in-Training Distribution License, but we will also consider strong applicants without licenses who are eager to pursue them. The goal is for all operators to achieve Maine Class II Full Treatment and Class II Distribution Licenses within 2 years of hire, with support provided along the way.
* 1-3 years' experience in the water treatment and distribution industry preferred but will consider other related experience.
* Experience with the maintenance of pumps, compressors and plumbing fixtures, or a background in maintenance is highly desirable.
* A valid State of Maine motor vehicle operator's license.
* Working knowledge of the principles, procedures, methods, equipment, materials, and tools employed in the operation' and maintenance of Water Treatment and Distribution Systems.
* Knowledge or ability to learn the hazards and safety precautions involved in water treatment work.
* Knowledge of computer applications.
* Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
* Must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
