Salary Range: $21.39 - $34.44/Hour Purpose of Classification: The purpose of this classification is to perform plumbing installation, maintenance, and repairs in County buildings and facilities. Performs renovations or repairs to swimming pools; monitors pool water, chlorine levels, and sand filters; installs chlorinators and injectors; maintains and/or replaces valves, lint strainers, motors, pumps, filters, and sand; ensures compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations Determines materials and equipment needed to complete work activities; prepares and submits purchase requisitions; orders materials; and maintains related documentation. Project locations include the gulf coast region. Job Duties Commercial plumbing installation from underground\/rough\-ins, stack out to trim outs on large scale commercial construction projects Install hangers and supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures before installation for water, gas, compressed air, medical gas, or other liquids.
