Repairs and maintains plumbing, by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending pipes, and opening clogged drains. May weld anchoring fixtures and devices to steel structural materials. Installs pressure systems, flow valves, and hydro-pneumatic instrumentation on various plumbing systems. Makes estimates of costs relating to plumbing installation and material costs.
