Security - P5 level (Manager, Global Due Diligence & Investigations)
Purpose
Responsible for the day-to-day management of the independent channel partner and third-party intermediary due diligence screenings and identify potential risks to BSC in connection with the proposed relationships with the entities. The information provided by the Manager, Global Due Diligence & Investigations, will enable Global Security management and the cross-functional team of BSC senior leaders to make informed decisions when evaluating and resolving sensitive investigations; the successful candidate will also advise, as necessary, future business relationships in emerging markets. The Manager, Global Due Diligence & Investigations will also manage the intake of various reports made to the Global Security function and assign matters for appropriate courses of action. Additionally, the Manager, Global Due Diligence & Investigations will conduct internal investigations company-wide.
Responsibilities
* Manage the global Third Party-related due diligence process, to include reviewing due diligence requests made by the respective business leads, liaising with the business leads to obtain additional information where necessary, initiating due diligence reviews to be conducted by the approved BSC vendors, monitoring progress to ensure due diligence requests are completed in a timely fashion, reviewing due diligence reports for potential risks or issues, and reviewing on-going low level due diligence screenings.
* Prepare detailed assessments of potential risks or concerns and communicate to Global Security Management. In the absense of the Associate Director, Global Due Diligence & Investigations, faciliate the review of potential issues by the cross-functional team comprised of senior BSC leaders and communicate the resolution.
* Maintain meticulous documentation related to the due diligence screenings to appropriately capture analysis, recommendation, and all follow up efforts.
* Manage the intake of reports made to the Global Security team, assign matters to appropriate team members for action, and follow up to ensure resolution of all open items.
* Assist in the development and implementation of workflows and operating procedures related to the third party due diligence program.
* Collaborate with Global Compliance Third Party team to establish third party review protocols and update tools and templates within the Third Party tool.
* Build and maintain excellent relationships with multiple stakeholders, including the Global Compliance Third Party team, business leads across various regions and countries, and due diligence vendors.
* Assist where needed in coordinating cross functional efforts with members of Global Compliance, Global Regulatory and Privacy, Legal, and Human Resources, to provide thorough analysis of security risks and development of appropriate mitigating strategies.
* Investigate internal matters for Global Security globally. Investigations include interviews, documentation, recommendations, cross-functional team dialogue, and possible law enforcement coordination.
* Other job responsibilities as assigned and as needed by the corporation.

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study related to; Security Technology, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Leadership Principles, Project Management, and / or Business Administration, or relevant field.
* 7+ years of security industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Preferred Requirements:
* Master's Degree in a relevant field of study related to; Security Technology, Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Leadership Principles, Project Management, and / or Business Administration
* Certification through a recognized security industry accreditation organization such, i.e., ASIS PSP, CPP, etc.

What will I be doing?
As a Security Officer, you are responsible for monitoring and controlling staff entrances, patrolling on a regular basis, and managing undesirable behaviour to deliver a safe Guest and Member experience. A Security Officer will also be required to investigate theft and support evacuation procedures. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

AGS is looking for an Armed Detention Officer to work in our detention facility in Guaynabo, PR. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today! **Responsibilities** + Performs duties related to the detention, processing, safeguarding, security, escort and transport of detainees as required by the contract.
+ Exercises surveillance and control over detainees maintains order and discipline.
+ Enforces rules and regulations of the detention facility.
+ Provides care, custody and control of detainees.
+ Removes detainees from holding areas using proper restraints and security measures.
+ Guards' detainees at deportation or exclusion hearings, during transport, while receiving medical care.
+ Required to duty carry one of the authorized intermediate weapons (Intermediate weapons should be used in accordance with Service approved Use of Force policy).
+ Inspects, maintains, and cares for authorized equipment including but not limited to:
+ One approved semi-automatic pistol with appropriate duty belt and magazines.
+ All magazines loaded to full capacity.
+ Handcuffs/leg irons and keys, waist chains, black boxes, and restraint keys.
+ Ballistic vests which must be worn at all times while performing armed officer duties.
+ Requalify with weapon quarterly.
+ Makes official entries in the transportation and processing logbooks that are legible and complete.
+ Conducts a security and sanitation check of the area prior to relieving the outgoing officer.
+ Performs complete vehicle inspections prior to and following every transportation route.
+ Inventories all equipment and notate the results in the logbook.
+ Receives all authorized equipment and ensure that it is in proper working condition.
+ Ensures that your communication radio is in good working order with a fully charged battery.
+ Augments staff as needed at the San Juan Staging Facility and LMMIA operations as required.
+ Attends to housing, feeding, and the physical well-being of detainees, 24 hours a day.
+ Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with organization policies and procedures.
+ Completes all training and job requirements.
+ Follows company-wide safety policies and practices and adheres to responsibilities concerning safety prevention, reporting and monitoring as outlined in the Officer Handbook and other Company Safety Policies.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ Detention Officers shall have as a minimum one (1) year of experience as a law enforcement officer, military officer, security officer engaged in functions related to detaining civil or administrative detainees, or 2 years of college in an appropriate field of study from an accredited institution
+ US citizen or a person lawfully admitted into the United States for permanent residence and have resided in the U.S. for the last five years.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
+ Pass a criminal background and consumer credit check (no criminal record).
+ Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance.
+ Pass all pre-employment and random drug tests.
+ Pass a medical examination and meet health requirements.
+ At least 21 years of age.
+ Possess a valid state driver's license and Firearms license under the regulations of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
+ Maintain current/physical residency in PR.
+ Strictly maintain physical fitness standards for law enforcement/corrections.
+ Demonstrate an ability to work with a diverse population of people, including people of different cultures, with different values and lifestyles, with a cross-cultural perspective.
+ Ability to greet and deal tactfully with the general public.
+ Proven ability to exercise good judgment, courage, alertness, an even temperament, and render satisfactory performance through his/her responsibilities.

+ Possess a high degree of integrity, accountability and adhere to the American Correctional Association and DHS ICE National Detention Standards.
+ The incumbent's duties are performed in a detention facility environment, working with a wide variety of people from different cultures, backgrounds and speaking various languages, while performing multiple functions.
**Physical Demands:**
+ The incumbent is required to work the majority of hours in an indoor/outdoor detention center environment, standing and walking the majority of time, and respond quickly to changes in work demands, emerging situations and emergencies.
+ This position requires the candidate to maintain physical fitness standards and must be able to pass and maintain required physical testing requirements and standards which includes:
+ Must be able to lift heavy object up to 50lbs frequently and up to 70lbs occasionally.
+ Must be able to push a wheelchair bound individual weighing up to 300 lbs and helping individual in and out of chair.
+ Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, twisting, reaching overhead and climb stairs, ladders and slopes periodically.
+ Strictly maintain physical fitness standards for law enforcement related position throughout your employment under this contract.
+ Ability to walk through all areas of the facility for tours and compliance inspections in varied weather conditions.
+ Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend and reach for extended periods of time.
+ Ability to respond quickly during emergency situations.

Patrol all areas of the property; assist guests with room access. Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system.
