Professional responsibilities for this position include about 40% inpatient care, 30% OR, and 30% clinic. You would provide perioperative care to vascular surgery patients in the ICU, stepdown, and regular surgical floor settings in close collaboration with the surgeons. This includes daily hospital rounds, admission H&P?s, discharges, and consults. PA?s first-assist in all vascular surgical cases. Our surgeons perform a wide range of vascular surgeries, including EVAR (including fenestrated, snorkel, and chimney techniques), TEVAR, open aneurysm repair, CEA, TCAR (transcarotid artery revascularization), lower extremity bypasses, dialysis access, amputations, vascular traumas and emergencies, as well as endovascular procedures for arterial and venous diseases. You would also see outpatients in the clinic one week per month. The Vascular Surgery PA acts as the liaison between the surgeons, consultants, hospital staff, and patients to ensure continuity and highest quality patient care. The PA would need to have a team-focused mindset and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations.
Assist in the diagnosis and management of patient conditions, including infectious disease care and senior care.
Perform procedures such as cardiac catheterization and radiation therapy as needed.
Develop and implement health coaching plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide optimal care for patients, including family planning services.
Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Participate in occupational health assessments and MDS evaluations.
Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
Qualifications
Master?s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices.
Experience in health coaching or related fields is preferred.
Familiarity with infectious disease care protocols is advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities
Perform initial orthopedic telehealth and in person visits including but not limited to diagnosis, ordering imaging, and referring patients for in person care when appropriate.
The in person visits will be at a PCP office (exact location TBD) performing orthopedic exams and injections.
Build trust with patients through empathy, knowledge, experience, and shared decision making
Communicate and collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, and other members of the Icon clinical team
Create the patient?s personalized treatment plan and along with your dedicated care coordinator, determine next steps and navigate the patient through the journey
Participate in Icon product enhancement through feedback on the current technology platform
