Duties:
To function effectively in fulfilling the duties and responsibilities, the incumbent, must possess a broad knowledge of clinical medicine, basic medical sciences, clinical laboratory sciences, and operations.
The incumbent is a board certified physician with advanced clinical experience as well as demonstrated administrative and leadership skills and be able to perform and teach all the services required in the practice of Primary Care Medicine as listed below at a minimum:
* Medical significance, interpretation, and correlation of patient testing data.
* Anatomic Pathology - able to interpret and explain anatomic pathology results as appropriate.
* Consultations - Able to provide consultations for patients, instructing providers as appropriate.
* Medical Staff Privileges - As applicable, serve as an active member of the medical staff for those facilities served.
* Standards of Performance - Define, implement, and monitor standards of performance in quality control, quality improvement, and cost-effectiveness of the Primary Care Service as appropriate or at the direction of medical director or designee.
* Quality Improvement Responsibilities - Assume responsibility for implementation of the quality improvement plan.
* Personnel - Ensure that there are sufficient qualified personnel with adequate documented training and experience to meet the needs of the Primary Care service.
* Strategic Planning - Perform planning for setting goals and developing and allocating resources appropriate to the medical environment.
* Educational Responsibilities -Participate in educational programs of the institution.
* Safety - Implement a safe clinical environment in compliance with good practice and applicable regulations.
* Procedures- additional procedures to include Women's Health, Routine Primary Care Dermatology or Orthopedic Procedures outside of normal scope of practice and approved through the Medical Staff Executive Board and other applicable committees.
* Monitors and implements plans to improve clinical measures in Primary Care.
* Directly supervises Primary Care providers.
* Supervisory duties to include conducting proficiencies, chart reviews, writing scopes of practice, and corrective action as needed.
* Educates staff on PACT principles and works to improve clinic efficiency.
* Serves on committees representing the Primary Care Service Line.
* Responds to action items and patient concerns in a timely manner in proper format.

What You Can Expect
Average of 16.5 clinic days per month as a full-time member of the team (198 days annually).
Services include diabetes management, genetic counseling, high-risk obstetric care, management of advanced maternal age, management of multiple gestations, and pre-conception counseling.
Prenatal diagnostic procedures provided including ultrasounds, amniocentesis and fetal echocardiography (unique to our practice in Salt Lake)
Care team consists of MFM sonographers, nurses, and certified diabetes educators.
24/7 OB Hospitalist support providing labor management, supervision and delivery as needed.

Coaching will involve observation, hands-on guidance, feedback, goal setting, and action planning. The number of visits and hours involved will vary based on each familys needs (weekends and/or evenings may be required).
Document family assessment and progress within coaching notes and within the organizations database.
Provide family support as needed, either in person, virtually, or via phone, including but not limited to assistance with implementation of TBRI principles, utilization of these tools with caregivers, collaborating with related professionals on behalf of the family, and providing ongoing organic support such as brief check ins or linking with other resources.
Plan and facilitate monthly Implementation and Connection Groups in designated service area for families who have participated in at least one TBRI Caregiver Training course to provide ongoing implementation support, learning opportunities, and natural points of connection for families to develop support networks with other families who have a mutual understanding of their childrens needs and behaviors. This includes being the primary person responsible for the planning and logistics of the groups as well as facilitating the caregiver portion.
Deliver the TBRI Caregiver Training curriculum, as requested (weekends and/or evenings may be required)
Travel to meetings, sessions, groups, events, or trainings with families, professionals, and in the community as needed to market the program and build collaboration.
Adhere to the fidelity of the program and agency protocol and structure.
Provide respite in family homes in the region as needed.
Support internal and external communication about the program, conduct data entry, attend meetings, submit required reports, perform other administrative tasks as needed. Submit paperwork in adherence with prescribed timelines.
Track monthly mileage and expenses associated with job duties.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher in a social work, psychology, human development, or human services related field.
2 years experience working within adoption, child welfare or related area.
Demonstrated understanding of complex developmental trauma, trauma-associated behavioral and developmental delays, and challenges related to permanency achieved through reunification, guardianship or adoption.
Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Up to 50% travel required.
Must have dependable car and be insurable as a driver on the auto liability policy of Raise the Future.

When you join us, you'll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of "helping people live the healthiest lives possible." **About this role:** As a physician in our Critical Care Medicine group, you will work in the Cardiac Intensive Care Units at Intermountain Medical Center as an equal member of a multi-disciplinary team supporting advanced therapies for complex critically ill patients, including all cardiology subspecialties, cardiac surgery patients, and patients being treated with temporary and durable mechanical circulatory support, including Impella and LVADs. Additionally, coverage may include at times care of critically ill mixed medical patients with sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, and hemorrhage.
We are looking for a Critical Care Intensivist with a strong background in CV Critical Care to work at Intermountain Medical Center, the premier academic medical center and flagship quaternary hospital for Intermountain Health. This state-of-the-art facility currently has 96 ICU beds and 4 specialized ICUs, and is in process of expanding. Intermountain Medical Center is ranked #1 in the United States for MI survival treatment, is an ELSO Gold Center of Excellence, and is a Three Star STS Cardiac Surgery Hospital.
In this role you can anticipate:
+ Practicing at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah
+ Coverage will be concentrated in the Cardiac Surgery ICU and Cardiology ICU, providing 24-hour in-house coverage
+ 1,825 hours of ICU shifts annually, including: days (7a-5p) nights (5p-7a; 3-5 shifts in a four-week rotating schedule), weekends, and holidays
+ No call expectation
+ Potential for partial Pulmonary or Anesthesiology or Emergency Medicine FTE for qualified candidates
+ Academic appointment with protected time may be available for qualified candidates
+ This position includes a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance when applicable
