To load and unload saggars on ceramic kiln bed based on schedule, prepare paperwork, and sign-off on operations. Operate the Kiln per procedure to ensure product flow and quality. *Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11pm, Pay rate $16.70 + $1 premium for the shift. · Perform all load and unload operations according to procedures. · Loads saggars with raw material on ceramic kilns according to procedures. · Make temperature checks as required. · Change ceramic kilns temperatures per schedule to run different material according to specifications. · Unloads fired product from saggars and identifies by lot number. · Notifies supervision/engineers of equipment malfunctions. · Keep the Kiln area and equipment clean and orderly. · Process products per the production planning. · Notify a supervision or engineer of out of specification conditions or any non-conformity relating to the product.
