JOB DESCRIPTION
Production Operator
Assignment: Operate and support production operations at the COP Alpine or Kuparuk Facilities and Drillsites. Positions are rotational (14 days on/14 days off) and based at self-contained camps in remote arctic environments.
Responsibilities
Participate in ConocoPhillips safety programs, operations toolboxes, and emergency response drills/events.
Ensure safe operation of production processes, pipelines, utilities, and safety systems within assigned Operating Areas.
Exercise Stop-Work Authority when conditions are unsafe, change or are outside approved safety protocols.
Conduct routine operator rounds and area surveillance to monitor equipment and identify issues proactively.
Respond to process upsets and abnormal conditions, and perform facility start-up and shutdown activities for both planned and unplanned events.
Comply with all safety procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), regulatory requirements, and environmental standards.
Maintain operating integrity through adherence to Safe Operating Limits, Management of Change, and Control of Work processes.
Complete all required Training and Competency requirements to safely operate assigned facilities and/or drill sites.
Prepare and execute energy isolations and preparation of equipment for maintenance.
Achieve production targets through proactive surveillance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Preferred Technical Qualifications:
3 or more years direct oilfield or petrochemical operations experience.
Associate degree or higher in process technology or relevant technical discipline.
Intermediate knowledge of Production Operations and Process Safety Management
1 or more years' experience as a Field Production Operator for wells and remote gathering systems, AND/OR
1 or more years' experience as a Field Production Operator for a processing facility, AND/OR

Job purpose Alaska Garden and Pet Supply Feed Mill division is seeking an individual to effectively and efficiently manufacture high quality feed in a timely manner. This position focuses on producing high quality feed. Successful candidates will demonstrate positivity, have an attitude toward safety, sales, customer service and employee team-work. APPLICANTS MUST HAVE FEEDMILL EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
Duties and responsibilities
Experience operating a Bliss or CPM pellet mills.
Experience mixing various feed rations.
Assists in the efficient scaling of hand additives, following all HACCP SOP's (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point's Standard Operating Procedures).
Perform and monitor proper documentation of the batching, grinding, and load out process.
Bag & Sew bags of feed produced from the mill if needed to fill in for a bagger.
Daily cleaning inside of feed mill and load-out areas, outside feed storage area, and computer area.
Ability to sample and unload railcars.
Forklift and Confined space entry certification (in-house) will be required
Experience with equipment operations and maintenance.
Displays a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assigned tasks.
Ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment

3 +years feed mill experience
Minimum HS Diploma or GED required
Ability to problem solve in situations involving variables in standardized situations.
Excellent verbal communication
Computer skills
Ability to apply common sense understanding, receive instructions, which can be furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Preferred: Lock and Out Tag Out Certified (in house certification)
Preferred: Forklift Trained (in house certification)
Preferred: Mechanical/Maintenance Experience
Willing to work in a non-smoking facility
Physical Demands
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. repeatedly and up to 100 lbs. on occasion.

Stages cylinders in designated areas of the production plant for filling. These areas will be designated by production personnel and shall be areas that insure the least amount of handling.
Loads and unloads all assigned company vehicles daily.
Spot trucks and trailers within a designated area on company property.
Transfers cylinders to and from ground storage as needed.
Assists production personnel in removing full cylinders from the fill area.
Down grade pure product as needed to fill orders 100%.
Reports all cylinder shortages to management.
Inspects all cylinders for general condition, reports all discrepancies to management.
Maintains equipment and communicates requests to Plant Manager in writing.
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the assigned area.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
