Job Summary (Purpose):
The Utility Worker primarily works in the outside production area of the AmeriGas Cylinder Exchange facility. The employee is responsible for the processing of cylinders (20 lb. barbeque grill cylinders).

Ability to stand and walk 8 - 12 hours per day.
Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
Perform general housekeeping duties.

* A demonstrated ability to exceed performance expectations, especially in categories of attendance, safety, and teamwork is required.
* Must be familiar with and able to run automated equipment, including fillers and palletizers and operating casing equipment
* Must have a high mechanical aptitude to be able to sequence equipment for proper start-up and shutdown, understanding machinery and conveyor controls.
* The ability to do repetitive stooping, lifting 50 pounds, bending, and standing while operating equipment is required.
* Must possess a valid forklift license and be able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently

Locate and pull product and raw materials in a timely and efficient manner
Upon approval of the lead operator, off load raw materials from shipping vehicles. Depending on the mode of transport, offloading will be done by hand, forklift or pumps and hoses.
Load product ingredients into blending tanks using hoses and pumps.
Prepare raw materials for initial processing. This includes manually loading materials on to conveyer belts, using knifes to cut material and using a forklift to dump drums of material.
Move and manipulate ingredient containers as necessary to complete the blend process. This includes moving and lifting 50 pound barrels on a regular basis.
Sanitize all blending tanks and equipment using mildly caustic cleaning agents. This includes climbing
Use a forklift to transfer raw material from initial processing equipment to staging tanks.
Perform still start up procedures. This includes connecting hoses and opening valves.
Monitor and document still reading, and sounds to ensure proper distillation.
Perform aromatic and visual evaluations of materials and notify lead personnel of any production problems.
Produce product samples for QC testing and analysis.
Dispense intermediate, distilled materials into various types and sizes of storage containers.
Load and unload incoming and outgoing drum trailers.
Weigh and measure materials using both standard and metric systems.
Properly label material containers and update necessary documentation.
Appropriately store finished materials in cold rooms, freezers and warehouse locations. This includes use of a forklift for storage of drummed and bulk materials.
Perform standard cleaning and sanitation processes as directed by lead and supervisory personnel.
Maintain a clean and tidy work area free of trash and debris at all times.

What Assembly contributes to Cardinal Health Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Assembly performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production to put together component parts to make assemblies, sub-assemblies or completed units, using standard operating procedures. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
Job Summary
The Associate II, Assembly plays a key role in the manufacturing process of Cardinal Health medical products. The Associate II, Assembly operates multiple machines at once and performs routine inspections of manufactured products in accordance with quality specifications. This job reports defects and works with the quality team to investigate and identify route causes. This job ensures that manufactured parts are captured in bins and prepared for transport. The Associate II, Assembly tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards.

7 pm to 7:00 am on Sunday and Monday
Responsibilities
Sets up and operates production equipment in accordance with current manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
Measures and records data associated with operating and manufacturing equipment.
Verifies outputs in the manufacturing process and ensures that quality and quantity standards are met.
Inspects components for debris, and or any other potential quality defect and reports defects as needed to management and the quality team.
Performs duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations required by the Company, Local, and State and Federal provisions.
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience, preferred
High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution

Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor
Pay rate: $18.25 per hour (includes shift differential)
