Other projects may include evaluation of active and closed remediation projects to assess current and future use of those properties, redevelopment of properties, and return on investment of capital expenditure for completion of environmental remediation, and this may include development of various return on investment narrative reports.
Hourly Rate:
The hourly rate for this position is $16.24 for those that do not hold a bachelor's degree & $17.24 for those that hold a bachelor's degree or higher by the time the internship starts.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
This position will work with Project Managers and technical staff in the State Cleanup Program and the Remediation Services Branch to conduct file and database research, paper file review, and web-based research to support the collection of data and information necessary to evaluate the status of remediation projects, cleanup milestones, and closure timeframes, and post-closure obligations remaining for various projects. The position may also evaluate various active and historic cleanup projects to determine potential for emerging contaminant releases and exposure. Job Requirements
