This is not a corporate, remote or office-based position. This is a ten-week internship (40 hours per week) during the summer of 2026 located within one of Amazon's fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations or other operations buildings. Amazon is seeking customer focused individuals eager to develop a collaborative leadership style with a team of hourly employees across our Operations network! Our warehouses are fast-paced supply chain environments where standing, walking, and having on-the-production floor conversations are common.
As an Area Manager Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn how to coach, motivate and mentor a team of Amazon associates in a warehouse environment. Amazon provides extensive training and development to become an exceptional people leader. Your main focus will be learning to manage a team as well as developing a summer project in partnership with your site leadership.

Key job responsibilities
- Learn to coach, manage and develop a team of 50-100 Amazon Associates
- Drive standard work and continuous improvement through an intern project
- Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment
- Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
- Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs. While shifts vary site to site, most follow a fixed 4-day work week with 3 days off.
- Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment (at applicable facilities) and step in as needed.

Basic Qualifications

The ITS Analyst Int (Web Development) will define and document system scope, objectives, and business requirements to meet user needs related to portal applications, internal web applications, and public website development. What you will do
The Platform & AI Customer Excellence (AI Center of Excellence) team will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and delivering a portfolio of advisory and AI engagements in partnership with our internal teams. RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Technical Design & Production Team in a wide variety of projects and tasks, including, but not limited to, designing and integrating A/V, lighting, and communications systems, developing fabrication drawings for technical show set pieces, visiting project sites for fact-finding, project observation, and system integration, and system testing and adjusting.
Attend and participate in production meetings and regular technical department meetings, as required.
Manage and coordinate the setup, programming, and maintenance of equipment needed to operate the Production space, which will include guest presentations/speakers, theatre lighting and audio, show and concert productions, and other special events.
Operate and maintain safeguards for the technical assets of the Production Space, including supervising the use of audio, lighting, and communications equipment, and the use and maintenance of the overall space.
Participate in company intern activities and tasks.

Responsbilities:
Responsbilities can include the following, with rotations in areas such as Manufacturing, Product Development, Sourcing, Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, or Customer Experience:
Assist with process improvement, workflow optimization, and efficiency initiatives throughout different rotational assignments within Operations.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to identify and implement solutions that enhance safety, product quality, and output.
Participate in the design, documentation, and/or testing of new or existing manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment.
Analyze production data, troubleshoot process or equipment issues, and propose corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Assist in implementing lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies across multiple teams or departments.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Successful track record of challenging Engineering, Business, or related courses
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding
Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative, strong organizational skills and willingness to learn

Experience & Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree required. (GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred)

):
Will be assigned to teams with ongoing estimating and construction project deliverables.
Tasks will include; subcontractor solicitation, pre-qualification analysis, bid reviews and scoping, subcontract and purchase order writing, submittal, and RFI review and tracking, pay application and change request generation, OAC and schedule meeting preparation and attendance, and project closeout processing.
Field Interns:
Will be assigned to teams with ongoing construction project deliverables.
Tasks will include; safety oversight and training, quality control monitoring and documentation, scheduling, subcontractor management and coordination, submittal review, scope of work oversight, RFI investigation and tracking, project punch, and closeout generation.
