About the Role
As a Developer Analyst Intern at Z Modular (a division of Zekelman Industries), you will design and refine an internal analytics tool that delivers meaningful insights into our active properties. You'll work hands-on with data exports, visualization tools, and key performance metrics to build a reporting product that drives business decision-making in real estate and modular construction.
You will report to the Analytics Manager and gain real-world experience building dashboards, validating KPIs, and documenting processes for end users. This is a full-time, on-site internship located at our Troy, MI facility.

What You'll Do
Connect and integrate data from HelloData and Yardi (rent roll, unit availability, occupancy).
Build a foundational reporting model in Power BI or Excel to track occupancy, leased %, and exposure.
Incorporate rent banding analysis and compare budget vs. actuals across multiple properties.
Test the reporting model across properties for consistency and reliability.
Document key assumptions, data sources, and refresh procedures.
Validate KPIs by reconciling model outputs with Yardi and HelloData reports.
Investigate discrepancies in metric definitions (e.g., true occupancy vs. reported).
Refine the tool to highlight red flags such as incorrect unit status or unusual absorption patterns.
Deliver a final dashboard and user guide for business users.

Operations Research Engineers may help develop planning, blending, scheduling, and process models for refinery engineers. The models are used to optimize crude oil purchasing, refinery production, blending and finished product scheduling, and optimization of refinery production. Typical college co-op assignments include: validation of production data and mass balancing, process modeling, and development of graphical interfaces of refinery process units.
Environmental Engineers work on projects that involve the compliance of the entire refinery, and you will be exposed to the majority of process units in the refinery. You will be applying the engineering principles and calculations to various environmental projects and will also give you a broad knowledge of the various environmental laws that are applicable to refineries and what it takes to maintain compliance with those laws. Past projects/duties include: perform process calculations for the Risk Management Plan, including taking physical surveys of refinery process units; work on various process engineering projects within a Wastewater Treatment Plant; participate in inspections and/or testing that is conducted by federal, state, or local officials.
Products Control / Economics Engineers may work on a wide array of projects including operations, blending, and refinery economics. You will gain an understanding of how a tank farm is operated and how gasoline and other products are prepared and shipped to customers. In addition, you will gain some exposure to the overall economics of the refinery and how operating decisions are made based upon these economics. Past projects/duties include: analyze refinery process flow data and compare to recommended optimum levels, this will help in identifying equipment failures which cause variances in capacity from the optimum levels; update information on gasoline blends and tank samples in preparation for an annual blender waiver audit; develop applications to better present process data for refinery operating decisions.

As an Autonomous Driving Software Engineer Intern, you will contribute to the design, development, and validation of cutting-edge software powering self-driving systems. **Compensation:**

ADAS Software Engineering Intern HATCI Autonomous Driving Software Department is seeking an ADAS software engineer intern who is interested in acquiring hands-on experience in ADAS/AD software development practices. In this role, one will work on traditional and/or data-driven planning and control methods and robustness countermeasures to support Hyundai Motor Group's autonomous driving software development efforts in North America region
WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Implement lateral / longitudinal control and path planning algorithms for specific motion planning tasks
* Support agile software development efforts directly contributing to team deliverables in a Kanban development setting
* Build and integrate algorithms into our software repository and develop simulation models, environments and scenarios to test and validate multiple approaches
* Assist with data collection, curation and processing efforts for developing new ML models particularly focusing on computer-vision based perception tasks
* Development of traditional (sensor based, graph based or grid method) or end-to-end methods targeting motion planning applications
* Development of software on our existing platforms for robustness countermeasures to address edge cases
* Demonstration and validation of results in simulation environment, bench/HIL setup, and in test vehicle
* Support test vehicle instrumentation and in-vehicle data logging to support our development workflows
* Creation of technical reports and presentations to explain and document the results
