Strategic CFO with 23 years of experience at public and private companies spanning finance, capital markets, M&A, risk management and analytics, including financial planning & analysis, financial reporting, accounting, treasury, funding, securitization, capital raising, investor relations, strategy, corporate development, credit risk, enterprise risk, liquidity risk and market risk. Strong track record of innovation and execution. Worked on IPOs of CIT Group and Care Investment Trust.

As General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, Ted oversees all of Prosper’s legal and regulatory affairs as well as Prosper’s compliance program. Ted has more than 15 years of legal experience in both private practice and in-house roles.

Before joining Prosper in 2015, Ted was an attorney at Severson & Werson where he represented financial services clients in regulatory matters and litigation that included individual matters and complex class actions. Prior to Severson, Ted served as Assistant General Counsel at GreenPoint Mortgage Funding, Inc., a national mortgage bank that originated, sold and serviced mortgage loans. At GreenPoint, Ted managed the company’s nationwide litigation portfolio.

Ted earned a B.A. in Criminology, Law and Society from the University of California, Irvine and his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law.

In each of his three daughters first full season, the San Francisco Giants won the World Series. As a life-long fan, Ted was there with his family for each of them.
