About being our Construction Management Intern As our Construction Management Intern, you will be part of Psomas' Construction Management (CM) Group, while supporting specific assignments for the Bay Area Regional CM Team. This team specializes in managing the construction of heavy civil, public works infrastructure projects - primarily upgrades and expansions to wastewater/water treatment plants, recycled water facilities, pipelines, and pump stations. With the benefit of in person supervision, you will experience a collaborative team environment and gain hands-on, real-world experience to compliment your academic achievements. Our CM staff work in the field on project sites; therefore candidates must reside locally and/or be able to make the daily commute. This opportunity is for a Summer internship to work on assignments in Union City, Vallejo and/or projects in the North Bay Area. This role is estimated to work up to 40 hours/week, which unless otherwise specified is Monday - Friday. Students who attend college locally may have the opportunity to extend their internship into the Fall on a part-time basis.

AECOM is seeking a Lead Field Wildlife Biologist (Biologist III) to help deliver California's most critical surface transportation projects in the North Bay Area. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our group of more than 100 environmental professionals in the Bay Area. This position will join our Natural Resources team based in Oakland, CA.
*This is a primary field-based, on-call position, meaning hours will vary based off of project needs. Travel to the North Bay area is required.
This position would support a transportation client in northern California, with a focus on the North Bay Area region (Marin, Napa, Sonoma and Solano Counties). The position would focus on impact analysis for biological and aquatic resources with focus on biological monitoring, natural resource field surveys, and reporting.

Your Opportunity
The Senior Associate Electrical Engineer will apply building electrical engineering principles, your superior client service skills, and project management best practices to deliver projects that meet project requirements, exceed client expectations, and meet project financial and other objectives. Working within our thriving buildings practice, you will contribute to project delivery standards and work processes, provide quality control, workload forecasting, financial performance accountability, and collaboration with other disciplines.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
* Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, regulatory bodies, and internal teams
* Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure successful execution
* Work collaboratively with project leaders, architects, design partners, peers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success metrics, and develop innovative and practical solutions, and meet the project's conditions of satisfaction.
* Lead cross-functional teams, facilitating communication and collaboration to achieve project milestones
* Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively
* Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders
* Mentor junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes.
* Engage with external partners, including vendors and regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance and integration of project design.
* Establish relationships with clients, agencies, providers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure design alignment with project objectives.
* Lead the electrical design for various facility projects, including power distribution, lighting, backup power (generator/UPS systems), utility coordination, short circuit and coordination studies and coordination with other disciplines such as mechanical, technology and fire alarm.
* Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project requirements are met.
* Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess project variables and develop reliable design solutions independently.
* Prepare detailed design documents, specifications, and reports.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
* Ensure compliance with design standards and regulations.
* Participate in/lead project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
* Successfully manage projects and tasks of a scope, complexity, and revenue budget appropriate to experience.
* Provide oversight for Electrical Engineering staff.
* Actively contributes to the overall technical growth of the electrical team.
* Meets technical, contractual, schedule, budgetary, and client service objectives for each project.
* Apply strong electrical engineering skills, experience, and knowledge to the design and oversight of the design for building projects.
* Manages and plans the production resources and workflow to produce the design documentation, drawings, and calculations required for electrical engineering projects.
* Act as QC reviewer on projects.
* Effectively delegates work to production support staff.
* Nurtures existing client relationships and proactively pursues opportunities for new business.
* Develop project proposals and participate in project pursuits.
* Develop and deliver project-related client presentations.
* Proactively pursues additional knowledge in related disciplines by attending available in-house and external training.
* Maintain awareness of operational, technical, or regulatory changes within Electrical Engineering and AEC overall, disseminate such knowledge to staff and firm, and integrate it into existing processes and standards.
* Maintain and update Electrical Engineering specifications, technical documentation, and standards in collaboration with other technical leaders in Stantec.
* Develop and maintain industry relationships and visibility with current and prospective clients, sub-consultants, and partner firms in the local and regional A/E industry.
* Develop presentation materials and present them to clients and at strategic industry events.
* Represent the firm through published articles, public speaking engagements, and attendance at industry and community events, meetings, and conferences.

Pay Range:
* Locations in NYC & CA (Bay Area) & NJ (RP) - Min Salary $ 134,900.00 - Max Salary $ 202,500.00

**AECOM** is seeking a **Lead Field Wildlife Biologist (Biologist III)** to help deliver California's most critical surface transportation projects in the North Bay Area. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our group of more than 100 environmental professionals in the Bay Area. This position will join our Natural Resources team based in Oakland, CA.
***This is a primary field-based, on-call position, meaning hours will vary based off of project needs. Travel to the North Bay area is required.**
This position would support a transportation client in northern California, with a focus on the North Bay Area region (Marin, Napa, Sonoma and Solano Counties). The position would focus on impact analysis for biological and aquatic resources with focus on biological monitoring, natural resource field surveys, and reporting.

AECOM is growing in northern California and seeking a talented and motivated Senior Environmental Urban Planner/Project Manager. The successful candidate would partner with other leaders in northern California and our multi-disciplinary team to engage with our expanding pool of public and private sector clients, and manage planning projects and associated environmental impact analyses, including CEQA compliance processes and documentation. AECOM is seeking a Mid-level Wildlife Biologist (Biologist III) to help deliver California's most critical surface transportation projects in the North Bay Area. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our group of more than 100 environmental professionals in the Bay Area. This is a hybrid position that will involve in-person work at a client office in Oakland 2-3 days per week.
This position would support a large transportation client in northern California, with a focus on the North Bay Area region (Marin, Napa, Sonoma and Solano Counties). The position would focus on impact analysis for biological and aquatic resources with focus on technical writing including desktop reports and assessments and natural resource field surveys.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
* Conducting desktop analysis of biological and aquatic resources, and preparation of biological technical reports to be used in California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and/or National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and resource agency permitting.
* Preparation of technical reports to document findings from surveys and monitoring.
* Preparation of permit application packages for submittal to state and federal natural resource agency.
* Surveys for special-status wildlife, nesting birds and rare plants.
* Ability to manage and maintain strong client relationships.
* Communication with project proponents and stakeholder organizations.
* Organization of project files and tracking of project schedules.
