The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for managing and resolving a wide variety of Supplier Quality issues. Potential customer issues to resolve include working in conjunction with Manufacturing, Procurement, and Engineering. Additionally, the SQE will work with critical suppliers to improve quality levels through effective root cause analysis of quality problems and use of proactive approaches to quality improvement. Your Challenge: Provide support and direction in the implementation and administration of quality systems. Responsible for ensuring that proper supplier flow-down clauses are applied to Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders per the program-based requirements. Review packaging requirements to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Perform internal product, process and procedure audits to ensure compliance to specified quality requirements. Facilitate and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Issue Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) and Internal Corrective Action Request (ICAR) when trends are identified.
