What You Will Do
Development Operations Test Systems Engineering (TSE) Group is seeking an experienced Senior Civil / Structural Design Engineer. TSE is responsible for the design of new mechanical, electrical, and physical infrastructure systems required to meet test objectives for research and development of jet engines and component testing within Pratt and Whitney's Development Operations. The Senior Civil / Structural Engineer will work commercial & military programs, as well as capital infrastructure improvement projects. The engineer will need to be well-versed in foundation, structural steel, and reinforced concrete designs. The typical design sequence starts by understanding the requirements for the job, conceptualizing a design, followed by engineering design and analysis, and finally product definition and drafting. The engineer will also need to coordinate with local officials during permitting activities and coordinate with contractors during onsite construction. The candidate shall be a self-starter that is customer-oriented and well organized. Design of structures and facilities to support jet engine and engine component rig testing
Determine design tasks required and follow through with minimal direction

Purpose and Impact:

Essential Functions:
Monitor quality and compliance at assigned sites, such as: education files, licensing requirements, referral systems for families and children, provision of social services, and ERSEA systems.
