The ideal candidate is someone with a bachelor's degree in IT or a related field with minimal experience in QA, who is passionate about learning how to conduct QA manual testing. The QA Analyst will ensure the functional quality and stability of our B2C ecosystem, which includes Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), Boomi integrations, and other systems. In this role, you will design and execute manual test strategies, validate system integrations, identify defects, and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities Analyze business and functional requirements to build test scenarios and traceability. Design, write, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for front-end user flows, integrations, and backend processes. Execute manual testing, covering functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing. Validate API and integration workflows across D365 F&O, Boomi, and other systems; execute and verify API tests using tools like Postman. Identify, log, and track defects in Azure DevOps; collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes. Perform end-to-end regression testing across multiple systems to ensure data integrity and process continuity. Use T-SQL to query and validate data across MS SQL tables and interfaces. Provide testing progress, defect metrics, and risk assessments to project teams and leadership. Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, grooming, demos, retros) and advocate for product quality. Recommend improvements to QA processes, documentation, test automation, and release readiness checkpoints. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 0-2 years of experience as a QA Analyst or similar role. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). Familiarity with testing all layers of service/API layer and backend/data validation. Hands-on experience with project management solutions like Azure Dev Ops, Monday, Jira, or similar for test case management and defect tracking. SQL skills (T-SQL) for data validation and testing complex workflows. Familiarity with testing tools such as Postman (API testing), and exposure to test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with strong attention to detail. Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and independently. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities Define test strategy across the SDLC; drive release readiness and production validation. Create concise test plans/charters and build tests (functional, exploratory, regression) to uncover issues fast. Design and run non-functional testing (performance, latency, resiliency, failover, soak) that mirrors live market conditions. Validate pricing/volume metrics and benchmarks (e.g., arrival, VWAP), allocations, and P&L; ensure end-to-end data integrity. Triage defects by impact; produce clear repro steps, logs/metrics, and documentation with full traceability. Recommend UX and workflow improvements. Build and maintain API/service/UI automation. Partner with engineers/product to add guardrails, health checks, and observability; contribute to RCAs (Root Cause Analysis) and preventive tests. Track industry trends and competitor approaches to inform test strategy and product quality. Qualifications 4-8+ years in QA/Quality Engineering within fintech, trading, or market infrastructure. Strong exploratory tester with solid manual + automated techniques. Automation testing in Python/JavaScript/Java API testing across REST and WebSockets; familiarity with FIX workflows (orders/executions, drop copy) and JSON or XML CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions/Jenkins/TeamCity); version control with Git. Cloud/observability familiarity (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Prometheus/Grafana, Kibana/Datadog). Clear communicator-comfortable with engineers, product, clients, and leadership; calm under pressure Nice to have Experience with one or more asset classes: equities, options, futures, FX, fixed income, ETFs, or digital assets. Knowledge of execution algos, risk and portfolio management tools FIX certification/interop; experience building or testing exchange simulators. Practical use of AI dev tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for faster test creation and review. Awareness of regulatory/controls environments (MiFID II, Reg NMS, best-ex, SOC 2).
