Job Requirements
• BS Degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

In this role, you will own delivering sustainable performance through an effective Quality Management System (QMS) and continuous improvement goals. You will work cross- functionally to ensure quality in a Lean Manufacturing technical components' environment.
You will supervise a Customer Quality Manager, 3 Quality Technicians, a Quality Engineer, and a Documentation Control Specialist. You will plan and direct activities to develop, apply, sustain, and improve the QMS to ensure external and internal requirements are met.
Specific responsibilities include:
Provide supervision, coaching, training, career progression opportunities, and mentoring for a Quality Team. Hire and supervise employees.

Audit and approve suppliers to Quality Management System requirements of AS9100 or ISO 9001 and ensure that the supplier can meet the technical specifications levied by Oceaneering & the customer. Creates and reviews vendor procurement documents like
Statement of Work to ensure all requirements can be met, including inspection, testing, and other verification activities.
Participate in customer-led milestone design reviews and present the status of quality assurance deliverables. Work closely with customer quality assurance personnel to ensure Oceaneering meets all customer expectations or has a plan for re-negotiated terms and deliverables. Responds actively and positively to all customer requests, including the government (DCMA).
Serve as a member of the Material Review Board and assure appropriate disposition, cause, and corrective action on discrepancy reports and disposition records, as well as maintaining follow-up on open reject tags and discrepancy reports until they are satisfactorily closed.
Facilitates corrective action board meetings, taking a leadership role to ensure root cause analysis is done thoroughly and corrective actions identified.

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
To be successful in this role, you will need to to meet the following requirements.

5 years of experience and knowledge of manufacturing/quality processes and documentation in an ISO9001 or AS9100 environment.
Ability to comprehend and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, schematics and specifications.
Experienced in leading/supporting teams on failure analysis and root cause discovery techniques, and assessing corrective actions.
Good verbal communication skills, good technical writing skills, and detail oriented.

Participate in unit hazard reviews (What-Ifs, HAZOPs)
Support instrumentation Process Safety Information (PSI) and troubleshooting (thermowell calculations, orifices, etc.)
Provide / approve special chemical procedures
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum (Required) Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required. (Education must be obtained/completed prior to start date)
Zero (0) years or more of experience in process
engineering within refining, petrochemical, or related
industries required.
Must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
A valid Driver's License is required upon hire.
Able to work off-hour duties such as plant shutdowns and routine on-call support.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a refinery setting as a process engineer or experience as an MPC Co-Op.
This positions grade may vary depending on candidate experience. The successful candidate will be placed at a level commensurate with experience and qualifications.

This individual will manage a team of 20-30 staffs, oversee the scientific, operational, and business aspects of our custom protein and antibody services, ensuring world-class delivery to our clients. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in bioprocessing with proven leadership and a client-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all operations, covering protein and antibody expression, purification, QC, and project management.
Develop and implement strategies to expand service offerings and ensure scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing scientific and technical team.
Serve as the primary scientific and operational leader for client projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to drive business growth and strengthen client partnerships.
Establish KPIs and ensure continuous improvement in process quality, turnaround time, and client engagement.
Represent the center in external forums (conferences, customer meetings, partnerships).
Ensure compliance with company standards, safety, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of industry experience in protein/antibody development or related bioprocessing field, including 3+ years in senior leadership with direct people management responsibilities .
Strong technical expertise in recombinant protein and antibody expression using mammalian systems ; familiarity with additional platforms (insect, bacterial) a plus.
Demonstrated success in leading teams within CRO/CDMO or pharmaceutical environments and delivering client-focused solutions .
Proven ability to build, develop, and manage diverse scientific teams and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
Strong project management skills with ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment .
Excellent communication skills with a track record of engaging with global biotech/pharma clients.
