Prime Air is seeking an experienced Sr. Material Compliance Engineer, Environmental and Product Compliance, who will develop design-for-compliance specification and plan, troubleshoot and resolve compliance issues that arise in the course of Prime Air's NPI and other business processes. Key job responsibilities
1) Implement Prime Air's material and product compliance strategy, roadmap, and specification in the area of hazardous substances, and material safety to meet business objectives such as new product launch, new site launch, new technology development, onboarding new ODMs, etc.
2) Create procedures and guidelines to mitigate compliance issues early in the design phase, and ensure that hardware meets governmental and industry regulations in international markets.
3) Deliver compliance risk assessment, design-for-compliance specification, design review, and certifications/declarations during product development to ensure new hardware design meeting technical compliance requirement in the global market.
4) Influence internal and external partners and stakeholders to align on a compliance solution or mitigation path that favors our business objectives during product development and operation.
5) Engage closely with hardware and supplier teams on product development to determine the impact of the proposed regulatory changes on HW design, performance, reliability, and compliance.
6) Develop key metrics to evaluate material and product compliance engineering program's performance, and build implementation plans to confirm our performance and compliance, against program metrics, internal company requirements, and regulations
7) Participate in design reviews to ensure EMC/EMI and RF (Ka/Wi-Fi/BT) mitigations are properly implemented in the designs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
- Experience with the project management of technical projects
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent

Ensures compliance with FACT, CIBMTR, and other applicable agencies by continually engaging agencies around updates, identifying and updating internal SOPs to reflect changes, and coordinating and documenting education to necessary parties. Manages the Quality Calendar and performs associated audits. Shares audit results with leadership, proposes and implements corrective action plans.
Participates in the design, creation, validation, analysis, and communication of clinical quality data as it related to organizational priorities in partnership with analytics and other relevant teams. Works closely with Data Managers to ensure data integrity and quarterly CPI requirements are met.
Supports the evaluation and continual improvement of quality and safety at Swedish, as represented by the quality management system and/or other standardized practices across the enterprise. Uses standardized principles (i.e., document vetting and control) and processes (i.e., internal audits, preventative/corrective action, risk reduction, action planning) as appropriate.
Remains current and knowledgeable about regulatory requirements and payor/government programs such as FACT and CIBMTR. References that information to design effective systems and processes and meets or exceeds those standards.
Creates project summaries and reports, leads project committees/workgroups, and provides presentations and other communications to local and system-wide groups/teams in partnership with division leadership as needed.
Participates thoughtfully and constructively in team meetings. Assists with onboarding of new team members.
Maintains minimum 10 hours of cellular therapy education.

Responsibilities
As a Quality Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of reliability and compliance. You'll support new product launches and ongoing quality initiatives across our operations.
Your day-to-day will include:
Audit in-process and finished product quality checks
Maintain accurate records of product testing and inspections
Investigate quality issues to identify root causes and drive improvements
Collaborate with team members at all levels - from employees to managers
Work with corporate and local quality teams to uphold standards
Recommend process and tooling changes to improve quality and reduce waste
Implement changes across teams (without direct management responsibility)
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience with quality systems and standards
Proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD, and Excel
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed

JOB DETAILS Base Pay: $23.50 - $25.50 per hour Shift: Day Shift, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Shoe Voucher/Reimbursement DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Quality Assurance Technician in the Extrusion department ensures that all vinyl profiles produced for window manufacturing meet strict quality standards. This role is responsible for inspecting materials and finished products, performing tests, analyzing data, and working closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. The QA Technician is critical to maintaining compliance with industry standards and supporting the company's continuous improvement initiatives in vinyl extrusion processes.
Inspect vinyl profiles for dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and consistency according to product specifications
Conduct regular in-process and final product quality checks, using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Perform material testing on vinyl, including tensile strength, UV resistance, and impact testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards
Monitor extrusion lines to ensure consistent quality output, identifying and correcting any deviations from standards
Document and analyze quality data using statistical process control (SPC) techniques, presenting findings to management
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of defects and develop corrective actions
ยท Maintain up-to-date quality records, including test results, inspection logs, and production reports
Participate in process audits and contribute to continuous improvement efforts for optimizing the extrusion process
Assist with maintaining and improving the company's quality management system (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 or other relevant standards
Ensure that all products meet safety, regulatory, and customer specifications before shipment
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate degree or technical diploma in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field (preferred)
Certification in quality control (e.g., Certified Quality Technician, Six Sigma certification) is a plus
1-3 years of experience in quality control/assurance in a manufacturing environment, preferably in vinyl extrusion or window manufacturing
Familiarity with extrusion processes, vinyl materials, and window profile standards Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools in a manufacturing setting
Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges for product inspection
Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality management systems (QMS)
Understanding of material properties related to vinyl, including UV and thermal resistance
Experience with blueprint reading, including specifications for window profiles and dimensions
Proficiency with quality control software and data entry tools
Attention to Detail: Ability to identify defects such as surface imperfections, incorrect dimensions, or inconsistencies in vinyl profiles
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills for identifying root causes of quality issues and developing corrective measures
Communication: Ability to communicate findings clearly and work effectively with production, engineering, and quality teams
Data Analysis: Ability to collect, interpret, and present quality data to support decision-making
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and documentation purposes
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 50 lbs
