Roles and Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for new products and technologies from bid and proposal through hand-off to production.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Quality, and Supply Chain, to ensure manufacturability and quality of new products.
* Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure safety and quality.
* Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new manufacturing technologies and processes.
* Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flow diagrams, etc. in support of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
* Utilize Lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
* Participate in design reviews and lead manufacturing reviews to provide feedback on manufacturability and process improvements.
* Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action activities for manufacturing issues.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing)
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or Industrial Engineering role
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and Lean manufacturing principles and tools such as Kaizen, Standard Work, and Hoshin Kanri
* Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis techniques
* Familiarity with CAD software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite

The base pay range for this position is $64,600 - $78,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
