Experience with testing tools such as oscilloscopes, harness testers, or logic analyzers is beneficial.

Familiarity with automation tools, PLC programming, or robotics is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Position Summary:
Performs engineering work varied in nature and complexity encompassing planning, evaluating, designing, developing and adapting tools, machines, and new technologies for the purpose of producing new products, increasing productivity on existing products, enhancing quality and reducing manufacturing costs (i.e., the optimum use of workers, machines, materials and facilities). Primary Responsibility:

Coordinate and maintain site Food Safety Plans to meet FSMA (21 CFR 507) and food safety code standards, including management of required documentation, verifications and validations as it relates to preventive controls and pre-requisite programs.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and product identity site requirements, including those required for USDA-APHIS certifications for export, Organic certifications and other programs as identified.
Serve as HACCP/HARPC/Food Safety Team Coordinator, PCQI and SQF Practitioner for the site. Work closely with site management team to drive adherence to food safety systems and programs. Lead initiatives as assigned, to include support of change management and continuous improvement.
Manage, support and/or influence policies and procedures to comply with quality and food safety requirements. Implement and provide training on new procedures as needed. Promote culture of audit-readiness at all times.
Implement/manage internal audit and CAPA systems to allow for easy tracking and close-out of site corrective and preventative measures.
Execute root cause analysis for non-conformances, including product quality, food safety or customer issues. Support production facility management team in responding to customer corrective actions. Interpret requirements and monitor activities to identify when further investigation may be needed.
Communicate effectively with internal customers (human resources, maintenance, shipping / receiving, purchasing, customer service, production, etc.) and external customers. Be a key leader for facility audits, including customer, third-party and/or regulatory inspections.
Recognize business risks associated with quality and food safety deviations; respond and communicate effectively and expediently according to identified risk.
Review and recommend changes to processes or equipment in areas of ownership to continuously improve quality assurance functions and services.
Management of site quality budget.
Support the Poultry Platform Director of Quality on specific or assigned projects.
Cross-train on quality programs and initiatives within 3D Poultry as needed.

Know how to operate electric generators or compressors and pumps.

Qualifications
Education:
BS Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or current registration as a
Professional Engineer in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
Experience/Skills:
Candidate must demonstrate five (5) years design experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry. Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of ASME B31.3 code requirements. Candidate demonstrating experience in 2D Microstation
Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) is preferred. Candidate must have the ability to walk down systems in the field.
Work Hours:
A 40 hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B).
Work week excludes SRR holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch.
Area Security Access:
A security clearance is not required.

Job Summary
As a Process/Equipment Engineer at Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD), you will be instrumental in optimizing and improving manufacturing processes equipment modernizations. Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment, or modify existing ones, to improve product quality, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
Create Change Controls for equipment - new installations and improvements
Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flow diagrams.
Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to transfer new products from development to production.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
Perform equipment qualifications (IQ, OQ, PQ) and process validations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO).
Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel on process-related issues and new equipment operation.
Analyze process data and metrics to identify trends, predict potential issues, and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure all processes adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial) or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.
2-5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, process control, and statistical analysis tools.
Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and CAD software.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement tools. Certification (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt) is a plus.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485).

Summary:
This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, administering and supervising the plant's Quality Assurance program, ensuring that quality control procedures and policies are coordinated throughout the organization. Work with other engineering stakeholders and customers on problem solving and continuous improvement to the design of equipment and products and may develop corrective and preventive action plans
Develop new manufacturing processes, including layouts, PFD, PFMEA, CP, work instructions and training materials.
Design special assembly tools, fixtures and equipment to be used for the assembly processes
Develop detail drawings with tolerances and proper material call out for assembling tools, fixtures and equipment.
Designing new systems and processes for the introduction of new products or for the improvement of existing ones.
Install equipment, fixtures, specialty assembly tools, product lift assists and storage devices.
Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service.
Analyzes and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
Meet with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
Coordinates with customers to determine product specifications and design changes and responds to customer requests.
