Required Qualifications * A completed master's degree in communication disorders or closely related area (e.g., Speech and Hearing Science) * At least five years of professional experience working in a clinical setting (e.g., school-based or medical setting) * Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language-Pathology * Eligibility for unrestricted licensure as a speech-language pathologist in Missouri * Evidence and/or demonstrated potential for teaching effectiveness OR clinical supervision effectiveness in Communication Disorders * Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills * Evidence of commitment to the liberal arts and sciences Preferred Qualifications * Ability to teach a variety of courses within the department * Evidence of or demonstrated potential for mentoring students in transformative learning experiences such as service-learning, study abroad, and clinical practicum * Evidence and/or demonstrated potential for developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills in undergraduate and graduate students
