We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to join our imaging team in Riverside. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as per physician orders
Accurately position patients to obtain optimal images
Ensure radiation safety and follow ALARA principles
Verify patient identity and explain procedures clearly
Maintain and operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently
Review images for quality and completeness before submission
Maintain patient records and documentation in EMR/PACS
Follow infection control, HIPAA, and safety protocols
Assist radiologists and clinical staff as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT (R) certification required
California CRT license required
Current BLS/CPR certification
Minimum 1 year of X-ray experience preferred
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
