Responsibilities Work Schedule:Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm to include either a 1/2 or 1-hr. lunch break. Specific Tasks:• Perform routine diagnostic radiological procedures/services as appropriate to the TO.

• Initiate repair call procedures for equipment malfunctions by notifying designated Government personnel. Report problems to the Biomedical Repair Section and record the problem condition in the trouble call log book.
• Observe and report to the radiologist any symptoms which have direct bearing on the patient's condition as a result of adverse reaction to contrast media and inform the radiologist of any condition requiring his/her attention. Recognize the need for and institute the necessary emergency measures for situations where a person requires resuscitation procedures due to cardiac or respiratory arrest.
• Performs administrative functions to include, but not limited, front desk work, scheduling exams, patient check ins, answering phone calls, importing and exporting of exams to/from digital media Qualifications

Basic Requirements for Diagnostic Radiology Technologist (Mammography) GS-0647-08
Radiology Certification: Public Law 97-35 requires that persons who administer radiologic procedures meet the credentialing standards in 42 CFR Part 75. Essentially, they must (1) have successfully completed an educational program that meets or exceeds the standards described in that regulation, and is accredited by an organization recognized by the Department of Education, and (2) be certified as radiographers in their field.(Note: You must attach a copy of your radiology certification and transcripts.)
(1) Persons employed by the Federal Government as radiologic personnel prior to the effective date of the regulation (January 13, 1986) who show evidence of current or fully satisfactory performance or certification of such from a licensed practitioner such as a doctor of medicine, osteopathy, dentistry, podiatry, or chiropractic who prescribes radiologic procedures to others.
(2) Persons first employed by the Federal Government as radiologic personnel after the effective date of the regulation who (a) received training from institutions in a State or foreign jurisdiction that did not accredit training in that particular field at the time of graduation, or (b) practiced in a State or foreign jurisdiction that did not license that particular field or did not allow special eligibility to take a licensure examination for those who did not graduate from an accredited educational program, provided such persons show evidence of training, experience, and competence, as determined by OPM or the employing agency.
In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience performing radiologic examinations to include mammograms; and setting up the exam room. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: One and a half years of graduate level education in a field directly related to the work of the position, such as Diagnostic Radiology/Radiography.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total semester hours minus 18) by 9. Add the two percentages.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university. CT Technologist
Schedule: Multiple shifts available (days, nights, weekends)
We are seeking a skilled and motivated CT Technologist to join a collaborative imaging team. In this role, you will perform high-quality CT procedures under the direction of a Radiologist while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and care throughout the process. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced technology in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT and radiology procedures requiring independent judgment, accuracy, and adherence to established protocols.
Provide safe, compassionate care to patients of all ages, from neonate to geriatric.
Demonstrate clinical competence in the use of ionizing radiation while maintaining compliance with safety standards.
Assist in maintaining imaging equipment and work area to ensure operational readiness.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to ensure seamless patient care.
Prioritize patient needs while delivering accurate and timely imaging results.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist (required).
ARRT (R) and (CT) preferred.
One year of CT experience required.
Acute care experience preferred for freestanding emergency department (FSED) roles.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
