Scope of Position: Under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, the Radiologic Technologist Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and leading activities of Radiology team members to ensure compassionate, effective and efficient delivery of high quality clinical care for patients. POSITION EXPECTATIONS: · Follow departmental protocols relating to the acquisition of diagnostic radiologic imaging. · Manage department work-flow and assist in guiding staff towards the efficient completion of x-ray orders. · Creation of weekly department work schedule to ensure coverage at all offices during clinical operating hours. · Assist in management of cast-checks, regarding patient care, direction of staff and assisting staff appropriately. · Communicate with physicians and mid-level providers pertaining to accuracy of x-ray orders. · Assist Clinical Supervisor with management of W/C pharmacy regarding inventory, reporting, and compliance. · Assist Clinical Supervisor with management of clinical supplies, and communicating any changes in supply needs by the physicians. · Serve as point-of-contact regarding service calls and maintenance requirements of radiographic equipment at all locations. · Assist Clinical Lead with management of staff and clinical work-flow when the Clinical Supervisor is out of the office. · Lead by example with positivity and optimism · Develop a cohesive training plan for new x-ray staff. · Adhere to the expectations, qualifications, considerations, and KSAs as described in the Radiologic Technologist job description.
