What the Radiologic Technologist will do:
· Applies radiology intelligence to patients to relieve anxieties; providing explanations of treatment; answering questions.
· Utilizes critical thinking skills in positioning patient by turning and lifting patients with restricted mobility.
· Minimizes radiation doses to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques (ALARA), using beam restrictive devices, patient protective shielding, and awareness of exposure factors
· Verifies physician order for procedure and diagnosis to ensure all supporting documentation matches. Chooses the correct ICD-10 code when completing x-ray orders
· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Communicates closely with the physicians to insure utmost patient care with exact positioning and anatomy resulting in proper view for physicians
· Cleaning of imaging rooms in preparation for the next patient
Qualifications:
· Associates degree in Radiology is required from an accredited education program
· Maintain valid ARRT certification
· Licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Radiologic Technologist

What you'll be doing: We are hiring an X-Ray Tech to prepare our patients for and perform radiologic procedures, as well as assisting with other medical support as required by our clinicians. A typical day will include:
Preparing and performing x-rays within scope of practice
Practicing patient shielding and ALARA standards
Keeping an accurate log of exams performed, including documenting LMP and shielding
Verifying condition of network and x-ray server
Cleaning cassettes, table, and chest board after each procedure
Performing additional front and back-office duties as required by the daily operations of the clinic, including collecting payments for services rendered
What you'll bring to the table: A high school diploma or equivalent, as well as one of the following licenses: License for Radiologic Technologists or Basic Machine Operator. We'd also prefer you to have prior recent experience in a healthcare setting such as an emergency department, urgent care, or other ambulatory clinic.

Job Summary:
Palm Coast Imaging is looking for an X-Ray Technologist to join our fast-paced outpatient imaging center. Key Responsibilities:

What You'll Need to Be Successful:
Associate's Degree from an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology
Florida State Radiologic Technologist License
ARRT certification in Radiology (RT(R))
BLS certification
One year of experience preferred

Working knowledge of anatomy, imaging protocols, and radiologic equipment

The Radiologic Technologist Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and providing guidance and support to the team.
We believe every patient should receive the best possible care, our practice offers an array of services specializing in general orthopedics, spine care, sports reconstruction, adult reconstruction and non-surgical treatments. We currently have eleven Orthopedic Surgeons, one Interventional Pain Management Physician, Mid-Level Providers, and a Physical Therapy team who serve patients at four locations within Volusia and Flagler counties.
Scope of Position:
Under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, the Radiologic Technologist Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and leading activities of Radiology team members to ensure compassionate, effective and efficient delivery of high quality clinical care for patients.
POSITION EXPECTATIONS:
· Follow departmental protocols relating to the acquisition of diagnostic radiologic imaging.
· Manage department work-flow and assist in guiding staff towards the efficient completion of x-ray orders.
· Creation of weekly department work schedule to ensure coverage at all offices during clinical operating hours.
· Assist in management of cast-checks, regarding patient care, direction of staff and assisting staff appropriately.
· Communicate with physicians and mid-level providers pertaining to accuracy of x-ray orders.
· Assist Clinical Supervisor with management of W/C pharmacy regarding inventory, reporting, and compliance.
· Assist Clinical Supervisor with management of clinical supplies, and communicating any changes in supply needs by the physicians.
· Serve as point-of-contact regarding service calls and maintenance requirements of radiographic equipment at all locations.
· Assist Clinical Lead with management of staff and clinical work-flow when the Clinical Supervisor is out of the office.
· Lead by example with positivity and optimism
· Develop a cohesive training plan for new x-ray staff.

Requirements:
