Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
Communicate student progress with parents and guardians
Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Passion for working with students
Excellent interpersonal skills
Eagerness to learn and be trained
Math competency through at least Algebra I
Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities
All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check. Compensation: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
