Metrocare programs focus on the issues that matter most in the lives of the children, families and adults we serve.
The Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program at Metrocare services provides developmental therapies and service coordination to eligible babies from birth up to the age of 3 who have significant developmental delays or disabilities. Services are provided in the natural environment (e.g., home, daycare, community-settings, and telehealth) and are delivered through Coaching with primary caregivers versus one-to-one treatment with the baby and therapist. The Dietitian for ECI is responsible to provide nutritional assessments, education, plans and support to ECI children and families.
HOURS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm.
The Dietitian for ECI would be expected to be available to provide services and attend required meetings/training during these operational hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Registered dietitian job in Dallas, TX
As the Nutrition Domain Lead, you will provide strategic leadership and subject matter expertise for performance nutrition across the CRAFT enterprise. This role supports consistency in dietary education, curriculum, and research.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance on nutrition strategies for aircrew.
Design, deliver, and maintain instructor onboarding and qualification training courses for new personnel within the domain.
Develop and deliver onboarding and qualification courses for RD personnel.
Ensure all curriculum is current, evidence-based, and aligned with operational demands.
Lead quarterly synchronization calls with the RD team across the CRAFT program.
Support research initiatives and assist with program evaluation.
Participate in curriculum development and standardization across sites.
Participate in the development and refinement of Plan of Action & Milestones (POAM), requirements documentation, and program expansion initiatives.
Other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or closely related field.
7+ years of experience in providing RD services within tactical aviation populations or high performance DoD operational communities.
2+ Years of leadership and management experience with efforts of similar size and complexity.
National Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
Current CPR and AED certification.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Planner (preferred) or similar project tracking software.
Current (or ability to obtain and maintain) Secret security clearance (T3 background investigation). Please visit the following link for more information: *******************************************************************************************************************

Job Responsibilities
Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition

Qualifications
Bachelor's or master?s degree in nutrition or a related field.
Registered Dietitian (RD) certification.
At least one year of clinical experience preferred
Licensed Dietitian status in Texas or obtain within 6 months of hire
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Passion for improving patient outcomes through high-quality nutrition care.
Conditions of employment may or may not include busy hospital and outpatient settings, from patient rooms/floors to kitchen/serving areas.
