A Day in the Life: * Work on scripts to support database modeling and data pipelines * Support ESRI and Oracle data to capture and content management processes. * Work with .NET developers to develop and deploy minor application enhancements * Work as a team member in INDOTS Software Development Lifecycle. * Collaborate with development teams to design business intelligence solutions to facilitate data gathering, storage, and retrieval. * Participate in projects to help design, evaluate, and tests data infrastructures. * Analyze data to produce dashboards, metrics, or other usable conclusions. * May also develop user documentation or training materials. * Other duties as assigned What You'll Need for Success: * Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field * Relevant work experience preferred * Basic knowledge of the mission and role of INDOT * Basic understanding of state policies, procedures, rules, and regulations * Knowledge of state government structure, administrative procedures, and the legislative process * Ability to research, draft, and edit data and reports * Analytical skills * Ability to handle multiple projects * Ability to operate computer tools * Good research and writing skills * Good interpersonal and communication skills suitable for a wide variety of contacts * Confidence and ability to learn on the job and adapt quickly to changing circumstances Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports: Benefits of Employment with the State of Indiana: This seasonal position does not offer benefits and is limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period.
