-Prepares and positions patients for diagnostic exams of various parts of the body which includes setting up equipment and patient in relation to each other to provide best demonstration of body part under study.
-Enters instructions into computers, monitors and evaluates images for accuracy and completeness of order.
-Makes necessary adjustments when judged to be necessary.
-Evaluates radiographs for image quality and completeness.
-Responds to patient's physical and psychological needs.
-Explains all procedures in a clear and concise manner without causing unnecessary anxiety.
-Uses Proper Hand Hygiene before and after patient contact.
-Observes patient's condition and reports any change to nurse or physician.

Position Description:
Fish and Feathers is a program funded by the National Park Service (NPS) and administered by Environment for the Americas. Our goal is to provide our national park partners with talented interns who are eager to learn and to engage with local communities. The intern will focus on supporting, implementing, and leading community outreach programs that focus on fishing and birding activities. The overall goal is to increase diverse community engagement with NPS partners during the program and in years to come.
Responsibilities:
Reach out to local communities through outreach and educational activities to increase engagement in fishing and birdwatching
Create new materials (i.e., social media, educational games/activities, signage, etc.) to provide visitors with information about fish and birds at the NPS site
Understand regulations regarding fishing and ethical birding and communicate this information to participants
Establish or build upon fishing and birding programs at the NPS site
Manage and maintain program equipment
Host World MIgratory Bird Day Event

Qualifications:
Ability to hike and conduct field operations as part of a team and/or independently in an outdoor setting.

About this Site:
Springfield Armory National Historic Site is located in Springfield, Massachusetts, an urban area with a population of approximately 150,000. Springfield offers typical city amenities, including a hospital, churches, lodging, stores, and transportation options. The surrounding area includes many suburban towns, colleges, universities, and cultural attractions.
The region experiences four distinct seasons and offers various recreational opportunities as part of the Connecticut River Valley and gateway to the Berkshires. Historically, and still today, Springfield is situated at a transportation crossroads, with easy access to major East Coast cities via highway, Amtrak train, and Bradley International Airport.
If the intern stays in park-provided housing, they will be less than two miles from the nearest hospital and will pass several grocery stores and restaurants on their daily commute. The anticipated work environment for the Fish & Feathers Intern will include a mix of office and outdoor field work. Office work will involve training, meetings, research, program development, promotional material creation, and occasional visitor center support. Field days will include presenting urban birding programs on the armory grounds or participating in fishing or bird banding events with partner organizations. The intern should be able to walk 1-2 miles and navigate moderate inclines.
Summer weather in Springfield is generally mild, with high temperatures typically in the 80s and 90s, some humidity, and occasional thunderstorms. Springfield Armory frequently hosts student interns from UMass Amherst, Westfield, and Springfield Technical Community College.

General Intern Description:

Community Relations Intern:
The Worcester Red Sox Community Relations team embeds itself in the Worcester community and uses the WooSox' platform to enact meaningful, positive change. The Community Relations team works hand in hand with the WooSox Foundation, whose four pillars are: Education, Social Justice, Conquering Cancer, and Recreation/Diamond Sports. The Community Relations intern will assist the Foundation and CR Team with its many initiatives inside and around Polar Park. An ideal candidate has a passion for where baseball and advocacy intersect, and a curiosity for how a professional sports team can impact its community.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Facilitate and respond to in-kind donation requests that the Worcester Red Sox may receive from accredited nonprofits throughout the region.
Serve as point of contact and assist with planning of In Debt to a Vet Program on game days.

Prospect for sales leads and build lead lists for sales reps.
Make outbound calls to sell mini plans, birthdays, and group outings.

Leads gameday setup at the WooSox Rewards Headquarters during home games.

The HR Talent Development Intern supports the coordination and delivery of employee training and development programs. This role offers hands-on experience in program preparation, resource identification, and cross-departmental collaboration to advance talent development initiatives within a dynamic organizational environment.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Assist in the coordination and execution of training events and talent development programs.
Support instructional design by contributing to the creation, testing, and refinement of course content.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to align training initiatives with business needs.
Maintain and update the learning management system (CCUonline), including scheduling sessions, tracking completions, and building learning modules.
Coordinate program logistics such as room reservations, course communications, calendar invites, pre/post-work materials, and evaluation surveys.
Monitor workshop enrollments, manage waitlists, and schedule additional sessions as needed to maximize participation.
Prepare training environments by setting up rooms and ensuring necessary supplies (e.g., flip charts, markers) are available and organized.
Maintain a directory of external training providers, gather feedback on existing partners, and research potential new vendors.
Assist in the evaluation and continuous improvement of training programs based on participant feedback and performance data.
Support onboarding and orientation processes, ensuring a consistent and engaging experience for new hires.
Organize and update curriculum content, training records, and resource materials.
Partner with team members on special projects and talent development initiatives as assigned.

Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as CCUonline; knowledge of Camtasia or Articulate/Storyline is a plus.
Basic project management skills to assist with coordinating multiple training initiatives.
Analytical skills to evaluate training effectiveness and support reporting.
Experience or aptitude for managing training progress tracking and learning systems.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and external vendors.
