The pay range for this position is $91,311 to $149,080 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.     We are seeking a dedicated Lab Assistant to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable hours and experience to qualify for the HT or ASCP Exam within a year of employment. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to advance within the position based on performance reviews, with potential promotion to Tech II, Tech III, Team Lead, and other levels. This is a great opportunity for science majors looking to get into the health and medical laboratory field without having to go back to school! Responsibilities * Collect and process specimens. * Prepare slide trays for analysis. * File blocks and slides efficiently. * Assist with lab organization and maintenance. * Prepare solutions and recycle chemicals as needed. * Perform tissue embedding after training. * Assist with H&E slide preparation. * Clean lab equipment and tools to maintain hygiene. * Stock lab supplies and conduct inventory checks. * Adhere to compliance and complete all necessary documentation. Essential Skills * Associates or Bachelors Degree in Sciences such as Chemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Laboratory Science, or Environmental Science. * If no degree acquired then 2 years of recent laboratory experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications * High School Diploma required. * Associates or Bachelors degree preferred in sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.) * Previous lab experience. * Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. * Ability to type a minimum of 45 words per minute preferred. * Attention to detail. * Team work Schedule Opportunities: Monday-Friday 8 hour shifts. This position is fully onsite in Green Bay, WI Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manitowoc, WI.
