About this Job: Possesses and demonstrates adequate knowledge to provide respiratory care to all patient populations with technique appropriate to chronological social emotional cognitive and physical development. Primary Duties and Responsibilities 7pm-7am Two shifts per week Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies procedures quality standards and safety standards. Reviews electronic medical records and physician orders throughout work shift. Responds performs and participates in cardiopulmonary resuscitation by maintaining the airway providing oxygen and ventilation via mask endotracheal tube or other devices and performs closed chest cardiac massage. Facilitates workflow efficiency monitoring interdepartmental systems and processes departmental policies and procedures and making recommendations for improvements as needed. Performs other duties and responsibilities that are appropriate to the position and area. Assists VPM/DM with customer service. 13. Assists with the clinical management of the respiratory department, including oversight related to case management, quality improvement, care planning, clinical utilization, and patient identification is overseen by a licensed therapist 14. Assists VPM/DM in ensuring practice act compliance. 15. Attends facility meetings as requested by VPM/DM and is responsible for information sharing at facility meetings. 16. Ensures that staff participates in orientation and training programs including but not limited to all required compliance courses and relevant policies and procedures, and that such training is properly documented. Participates in compliance and other required training programs. 17. Assists VPM/DM to ensure respiratory care is delivered in a professional and timely manner according to policy and procedures including rotating on call as needed. 18.
