Jonathan grew up working with his five siblings in Lack's Inc. of Texas' warehouse and stores that his grandfather founded in Houston in 1932.
After Lack's closed its operations during the mid-1980's, Jonathan's brother Stephen, turned Lack's into a single family office.
Beginning in 1984, Brush Strokes Ect. provided electrostatic painting for metal office furniture, components and equipment.
The firm was originally called Research Online International, Inc. (“ROI”) when it was founded in 1994.
ROi's integrated supply chain plays a significant role in the response efforts to the May 22, 2011 EF-5 tornado that destroyed Mercy's St John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Missouri.
In 2014, Gartner awarded ROi its inaugural Supply Chainnovator Award for the new innovative business model.
The Company achieved significant growth through 2015, entering into multiple land development projects in British Columbia and Quebec, Canada, as well as in Colorado, USA.
Starting in mid-2017, a new management team came into place, rationalizing the cost structure and rebalancing the business model.
