DHR ISD is looking for highly skilled Mainframe developers for the ALECS (Alabama Location, Enforcement and Collection System) project. ALECS is the federally certified system used by the Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR). It operates in support of the DHR Child Support Enforcement Program to meet the requirements mandated by US DHHS and OCSE. The system processes approximately $350 million in collections each year and supports over 600 users with over 50 interfaces. We are seeking highly skilled developers who have experience in developing Mainframe (COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL) applications. Requirements for the developer position include but are not limited to the following: Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of Mainframe (COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL) applications. Having experience with TELON (COBOL Code generator) plus point Experience in developing Mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL and TELON. Write Adhoc queries/SPUFI's using DB2 SQL statements Maintain the existing applications/interface files and make the changes as per the user needs.
