We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Data Security and Governance to lead our comprehensive data protection program. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in utilizing AI to integrate business processes, enhancing security measures and optimizing workflows. Proven track record of identifying opportunities for transformation using AI, leveraging AI-driven insights to improve security architecture and business processes. Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in an enterprise security architecture role. Strong technical knowledge of cloud and hybrid cloud computing, data architecture, security, and integration patterns. Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies, including but not limited to firewalls, encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and security information and event management (SIEM). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements and develop effective security solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
