The Network Engineer is responsible for the design, configuration, and monitoring the IP core network, transport network, and access network for voice, broadband, and IPTV services. Duties and Responsibilities · Provide technical leadership in the design, implementation and administration of voice, broadband, and IPTV service deployments with an emphasis on the underlying IP core network components. · Develop design specifications, technical requirements, technical drawings, and documentation as needed to ensure successful delivery of IP based services. · Provide recommendations on capital budget planning related to core network equipment, including IP core routers, Packet Optical Transport products, FTTH Access products, and related network equipment. · Conduct research on network products, services, and standards in support of deployment of new services related to growing the overall business.
