Conduct optical continuity, insertion loss, and reflectance testing to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Required Skills & Experience: 1 to 3+ years of hands-on in fiber optic testing, technician or splicer/tester roles (OSP/ISP). Proficient with power meters, OLTS, OTDR & visual fault locator/red light. Read and work from fiber plans, splice docs, and network design prints. Strong understanding of single-mode fiber, basic fiber loss budgets, connector types, and industry best practices for cleaning & handling. Comfortable working in the field in various weather conditions and on different shifts. Valid DL and reliable transportation to job sites in the great Columbus area.
