SeniorAnalyst - MiniMed Controllership (Record-to-Report)
As a SeniorAnalyst, you will be a key contributor supporting the statutory and US GAAP accounting and financial reporting for the MiniMed Juncos manufacturing facility. This includes period-end financial close for US GAAP and management reporting, local statutory financial reporting, site accounting processes and controls, internal and external audit support, and the readiness of the Record-to-Report workstream for Day-1 operations as part of the Diabetes separation.
Responsibilities may include the following, and other duties may be assigned:
Deliver timely period-end closing activities for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end for the Juncos manufacturing site, working closely with OU Ops Finance, Site Finance, and Controllership.
Deliver financial close and reporting in compliance with US GAAP and local statutory accounting standards, including support for statutory financial statements and filings.
Compile and analyze site-level financial information to record transactions, prepare statutory and management reports, and verify accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and support journal entries and site balance sheet account reconciliations, with a focus on manufacturing-related accounts including inventory, accruals, fixed assets, intercompany, and production variances; strengthen site balance sheet controls.
Work with internal and external auditors, tax teams, and local advisors to support statutory audits, corporate tax, and indirect tax requirements.
Support internal control requirements, including SOX compliance at the site level, control execution, documentation, testing, and remediation.
Support legal-entity fiduciary responsibilities associated with the Juncos manufacturing entity, including local compliance and governance requirements.
Provide technical accounting support for manufacturing-site transactions, intercompany arrangements, and operational initiatives impacting MiniMed.
Assist with technical accounting research for complex transactions and new accounting standard implementations impacting the site.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and ad-hoc finance and reporting projects focused on strengthening site accounting, statutory compliance, and close efficiency.
Support duties related to the Diabetes division separation effort, including Day-1 readiness and post-Day-1 stabilization for the Record-to-Report workstream.

Quality and Governance: Develop and memorialize Data Design Documents (DDD) to capture key decisions and provide reference for ongoing operations. Collaborate with Data Governance teams to enforce best practices and maintain high standards of data quality throughout all project phases.
Run State Support: Oversea the transition of deployed models to the run state organisations with full knowledge transfers and documentation in place. Qualifications:
* A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required, Major in Finance or IT are preferred
* 8+ years experience with min 5 years in relational database management/data model/data warehouse experience is preferred
* SQL experience is required with strong technical systems background (e.g. Tableau, Alteryx, SAP Finance, BW, MDM)
* Experience crafting sophisticated technology solutions to support a large, complex business landscape is required
* Must have experience supervising direct reports in order to continue the development of talent pipeline of data, system combined with business process.
* Extensive experience with Financial Planning tools and technology is required
* The ability to effectively communicate complex technical ideas to individuals outside of the FS&T Program and Finance organization is required
* Experience working in a matrixed, multi-team delivery model is required

* Responsible for the design of a pricing strategy and room type supplement strategy that maximises revenue from superior rooms and rooms with attribute. Monitor the performance of typologies, designing action plans for categories whose performance is not in line with expectations.
* Leading their hotel's upselling strategy at the three key moments: booking, pre-arrival and arrival at the hotel.
* Responsible for implementing an aggressive overbooking strategy to ensure revenue maximisation, driving crosselling opportunities between nearby hotels.

MARKET PENETRATION

REPORTING AND DATA ACCURACY
* Prepare and lead their hotel's business review meetings.

DIRECT CHANNEL AND PROFITABILITY
