CSCI is seeking an experienced Financial Data Analyst with 5+ years of defense financial management experience to support our DoW clients, including the United States Air Force and other Defense Agencies. This senior-level role requires a deep understanding of federal financial systems, defense appropriations, budget execution processes, and financial reporting standards.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with systems such as GAF-R, TFMS, DEAMS, and/or DAI, and will lead financial analysis efforts, conduct financial system capability assessments, evaluate data integrity, and support modernization and decision-support initiatives across Air Force and Defense Agency environments.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive financial analysis on Air Force and Defense Agency budget, accounting, and execution data to validate existing financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal standards
Identify and assist in resolution of discrepancies in historical financial records
Conduct financial system assessments evaluating system functionality, workflow capabilities, integration points, and data reliability across GAFS-R, TFMS, DEAMS, DAI, and similar platforms
Validate financial data outputs for completeness, accuracy, and auditability
Collaborate with functional teams, system owners, and financial managers to improve workflow efficiency, data quality, and reporting processes
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree inFinance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or related field
5+ years of experience in defense financial management or financial analytics, with emphasis on Air Force or Defense Agency financial environments
Demonstrated expertise with Air Force and or TRANSCOM financial data
Strong understanding of federal appropriations, budget cycles, financial regulations, and cost structures
Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar)
Creativity and adaptability in solving complex financial and system challenges
Ability to work effectively with clients to understand requirements and deliver high-quality support

About the Role:
As a Corporate Tax Analyst, you will work on a variety of tasks associated with tax operations. Working under the guidance of the Mitigation & Recovery Branch Director to carry out the duties and responsibilities as addressed in the Indiana Code, Stafford Act, and Code of Federal Regulations Title 44 - Emergency Management and Assistance, pertaining to all grant programs administered by the State Individual Assistance Program (IA), the Hazard Mitigation Assistance Program (HM, Public Assistance Program (PA), and the State of Indiana Disaster Relief Fund (SDRF). Current Delegation of Purchasing Authority Program (DPAP) Certification and prior procurement experience preferred. If not currently certified obtaining certification within the first 6 months of employment will be required.
Description of Duties will include:
Assist with the grant application process for the Individual Assistance, Hazard Mitigation, and Public Assistance Program. This may involve working with local, state, and Public Non-Profits applicants on providing project documentation to be submitted for review by State and FEMA.

Financial Compliance Monitoring for Recovery programs.
Assist with the creation of Memorandum of Understanding agreements in conjunction with the IDHS Legal section.
Assist with internal and external audits of Recovery programs.
Manage project set-up within Peoplesoft Financials.
Manage state requirement of eCivis use and reporting.
24/7 on call position as needed when a disaster event happens. There will be times this position will need to assist out in the field with damage assessments.
Assist in the Recovery Emergency Operations Center as needed.
Any other duties as assigned.

The Manufacturing FinancialAnalyst is responsible for providing operating management with financial analysis of daily, weekly, and monthly operating results. You will have the opportunity to develop your unique skills, innovate, as well as take on expanded roles to capitalize on your potential while gaining global exposure.
This position is responsible for:
* Creation, Tracking and Closing of Capital and Expense Investment Project Spendings, Percentage of completions
* Asset Management: Capitalization, Disposal and Transfer of Assets
* Supporting Month End Closure by Preparing Journal Entries
* Month End and KPI Reporting Activities such as Product Cost Walks, AOI Variance Explanations, Variance Analysis of Actuals and Budgets related to Projects and Transformation Costs
* SOX Support through Physical Inventory Reviews, Monthly Checklists and Plant Walkthroughs
* Supplier Reconciliations, Writing Lease Projects, Weekly OT Reporting
* Preparing Business Plans, Monthly Forecasts for Project Expense, Capitalization, Depreciation and Overall Transformation Costs
* SPW - Cost Deployment Pillar being the Compass of the Plant to Eliminate Waste and Loss in the process
* Act as a business partner, at times leading discussions, with operational and other support function colleagues
* This role requires strong analytical skills, problem solving abilities with an ownership mindset
What you will learn:
* Developing relationships with multiple aspects of the organization to achieve the financial and SPW (Stellantis Production Way) goals
* Financial aspect of life cycle of a product and exposure to management of financesin manufacturing
* How to drive SOX control, manage annual Asset Audits and perform annual physical inventories
* Applying financial principles to monitor and control costs while driving profitability within the plant
* Gaining expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and the ability to communicate financial results effectively to various stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree inFinance, Accounting or related degree
* Professional, Co-op or internship experience in a similar finance/accounting role
* A general understanding of core Finance or Accounting principles
* Ability to gather and analyze large amounts of data, interpret results, and provide meaningful reports to operations on a variety of costs
* Willingness to grow and develop a career in Manufacturing Finance
* The ability to budget, forecast and report actuals through the monthly close process
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Google and Microsoft Suites
Preferred Qualifications:
* MBA or equivalent
* Minimum 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
* Experience in maintaining SOX compliance for a location
* Proficient in SAP and Hyperion Essbase and knowledge of the project writing system
* Familiarity with PowerBI and Business Analytics or any cloud-based data management platform
