The Privileged Access Management (PAM) Lead Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of the organization's privileged access management program, ensuring protection and proper management of sensitive accounts and credentials. Lead integration of PAM tools with IAM platforms and relevant enterprise applications, measuring successful integration milestones and tracking reductions in access-related incidents post-implementation. In partnership with IT, define and implement Just-in-Time (JIT) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models related to privileged access and entitlements leveraging IAM automation framework. Monitor and report on the reduction of unnecessary entitlements. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and technical lead for PAM initiatives. Provide expert guidance, training, and support for technical teams and end users regarding privileged access and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and improvement in compliance metrics. Align PAM architecture and processes with regulatory frameworks (CFIUS, SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, PCI). Perform regular access reviews of privileged accounts, permissions, and entitlements across environments. Measure and report on access review completion rates and compliance with Cyber policies and audit requirements. Monitor, audit, and report on privileged account activities for compliance and anomaly detection. Define and implement proactive and/or automated controls when possible and regularly share metrics on detection rates and remediation times. Respond to and investigate privileged account security incidents, drive root cause analysis and remediation, and track incident response times and reductions in repeat incidents to demonstrate ongoing improvement. Develop/enhance, document, and enforce privileged account operational lifecycle policies, standards, and procedures, measuring adherence rates and reporting on policy update frequency to ensure continual alignment with organizational needs. Stay informed on emerging PAM trends, threats, and technologies; implement improvements accordingly and communicate the impact of these enhancements via quarterly progress reports. Mentor and lead PAM engineers in project and daily operations, monitoring skill development and project success rates to ensure effective team growth and operational excellence. Continue to maintain a comprehensive approach to privileged access management by regularly reviewing and updating responsibilities to reflect changes in technology, regulations, and organizational needs, and report annually on these updates and their impact on PAM program effectiveness. We currently have the following career opportunity available in Charlotte, NC: Electro-Mechanical Systems Engineer Co-op This position will be responsible for developing processes, assembly instructions, and work instructions for the integration of value-added options (chip management systems, high-pressure coolant systems, work holding tables, mist collection units, etc.) and associated equipment on a variety of CNC machine tool platforms. Facilitate installation of new options with Production team and document. Daily responsibilities will require close coordination and collaboration with team members from Production and the Applications Engineering department to develop processes and work instructions to install equipment effectively and in a repeatable manner. This position may be required to occasionally work outside of their normal work schedule. Responsibilities: · Consistently follow and reinforce all safety and work procedures and immediately notify management of any safety or product/process quality issues. · Develop procedures, assembly guides, and work instructions for the efficient and reliable set-up and installation of CNC machine tool platforms and associated options and kits. o The focus of this position is for electro-mechanical and controls systems including documentation of physical installation and integration of mechanical interfaces, hydraulics, and pneumatics as well as electronic control devices, wiring harnesses, connectors, and robotics/automation interfaces. o Take complex and often specialized information and adapting it into a format that is easy to understand; Processes and work instructions must be effective for both factory and field installation. · Perform installations, identify installation hurdles, and work with Production, Service, and Applications Engineering to develop solutions. · Drive Lean Six Sigma philosophies across Production including: o Develop Standard Work for each machine platform and associated options o Conduct time studies o 5S principles in support of an efficient, clean, and safe work area o Leverage Poke Yoke and Visual Management to reduce defects and errors · Create or update detailed drawings of options and designed components using Solid Works CAD software. · Promote and support ISO 9001:2015 certification across the organization: o Conduct internal audits to verify that process are working and identify opportunities for improvement o Lead continual improvement projects to enhance product quality/process efficiency. o Collect and analyze process data and present data in a meaningful way.
