What you'll need * Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience, including substantial ownership of complex electromechanical systems. * Deep expertise in mechanical design principles, robotics hardware, and electromechanical integration. * Expert-level proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and advanced experience with FEA tools such as SolidWorks Simulation or Ansys. * Demonstrated ability to architect systems and select motors, sensors, actuators, and structural components for performance and reliability. * Extensive experience with manufacturing processes including machining, casting, sheet metal, plastics, and proto-to-production transitions. * Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proven ability to make high-impact technical decisions in ambiguous environments. * Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with experience influencing across cross-functional teams. * Passion for robotics, automation, and building high-performance hardware systems. * Experience in industrial robotics, automation, or material handling (preferred). * Advanced experience with PLM systems and DFMA principles (preferred).
