Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of food safety regulations and ensure product compliance with relevant food laws and standards. Work closely with regulatory affairs teams to navigate regulatory requirements and obtain necessary approvals for product launches.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or related field.

* Develop an in-depth understanding of all manufacturing equipment and processes to effectively manage new product development, cost reduction opportunities, and process optimization
* Ensure R&D activities comply with corporate, state, and federal laws and regulations, including employee and product safety requirements
* Create and control intellectual property
* Conduct laboratory and machine trials to support new product development projects
* Develop and execute trial plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as Operations and Quality
* Work with cross-functional teams internal and external to the organization, including customers
* Determine and test Critical to Quality specifications for products and processes
* Execute projects within the framework of the established Stage-Gate process
* Generate technical reports with relevant data, conclusions, and recommendations
* Travel up to 10 %, including local travel to outside service providers, customers, or internal mill locations
Qualifications:
Required
* A bachelor's degree in paper science, polymer science, or a related technical field of study
* 3+ years of experience required in paper or coating operations and/or product development
* Must have solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word
* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Capability to manage multiple tasks or projects at once within cross-functional teams
* A demonstrated ability to effectively communicate internally and with customers and suppliers
Preferred
* Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
* Saturation application or formulation experience
* A desire to advance towards people and team management

Title: Student Labor - Biology

Published Salary Range: $13.00/hour
Job Summary/Basic Function:
Assists in cleanliness and maintenance of the Biology labs. Works to ensure lab supplies are stocked and labs are set up for professors to teach. Federal Work Study eligible.
Minimum Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree offered by the College of Science and the Environment. Must be a full time student unless applied to graduate.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in biology, fisheries/wildlife management, conservation biology, environmental science, or a related area.
Physical Demands:
Occasional mild-to-heavy lifting. Prolonged standing. Much be comfortable working with chemicals.
Work Hours:
Up to 19 hours/week, always within 9am-5pm M-F. Flexible and willing to work with student's schedule.
