Job Summary The Jacobs Lab is seeking a Staff Scientist to contribute to research on the neural mechanisms underlying human memory, spatial navigation, and cognition. The Staff Scientist will collect intracranial brain recordings from neurosurgical patients, analyze neural signals for oscillatory dynamics and traveling waves, create custom analysis code, and interpret results in collaboration with clinical and computational partners. This role requires advanced expertise in human electrophysiology, data science, and cognitive neuroscience, and will be central to the lab's mission of advancing fundamental understanding of human brain function and informing translational applications.
