Care for infants transitioning to extra uterine life.
Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary.
Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.

Provide arterial and intravenous therapy.
Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, such as incubators and ventilators.

Position is in the Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
Cares for Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and normal newborn patients
Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3
Handles vaginal and cesarean deliveries, OB triage, couplet care, and high and low-risk antepartum/L&D cases
Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
Floating to other units and facilities within the state is required
Epic EMR system experience required
Responsible for comprehensive patient care in L&D, newborn, and postpartum settings
Must be able to float between all facilities within the state as required
Returning employees must be separated from any Providence-affiliated health system for a minimum of 3 months and not reside within 50 miles of the facility
Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application and is subject to approval
Compliance with all health, vaccine, and documentation requirements is expected
