The Shipping and Receiving Department receives raw materials needed for production and puts away our final product in our cold storage warehouse. Shipping and Receiving Team members will also pull orders and sort boxes onto pallets, place completed orders in our cold storage warehouse, and load semitrucks operating forklift and other equipment for product to be deliver to customers. Position Reports To: Shipping and Receiving Shift Supervisor Core Responsibilities: * Team members will receive, sort and stock product into pallets. Scan the boxes, identify pallets and place the pallets in our cold storage facility. * Use forklift to move product * Perform physically demanding work in extreme cold environments, that requires attention to detail, strength, stamina and good hand-eye coordination (while keeping safety as top priority). * Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers by maintaining a positive work atmosphere. The Shipping & Receiving position is a full-time role and requires at least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment. The primary responsibility of this position is to work with our shipping and receiving team. This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager. * Full-time * First Shift * Generous benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, STD, and paid time off (holidays, sick, vacation). The ideal candidate would have experience as follows: * The ability to work safely and adhere to all company procedures with regards to safety, every single day. * The use of UPS Worldship, FedEx, and D365. * Material handling and location control. * Certified in the use of various forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. * Packing, shipping, receiving, and stocking product. * Ability to lift heavy material on a regular basis (50 lbs). * Ability to stand, stretch, and bend for a full day of work (8 hour shift). * Use company-designated personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, safety glasses, ear protection and protective gloves as needed. * Performing routine daily housekeeping duties in work area ot keep work space neat and organized each day. * Assisting in physical inventory count as required. Minimum qualifiations: * High school diploma or equivalent. * US Citizen or Permanent Resident. * Ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluenty. * Valid driver's license. * Ability to stand for long periods. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. * Ability to pass a background check and medical check.
