Position Summary
Maintenance Technician III is the senior-level property maintenance role and is responsible for overseeing and executing advanced maintenance tasks with a high degree of independence and expertise. This position involves leading maintenance projects, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the optimal condition of properties across the company's portfolio. Key responsibilities include electrical and plumbing work, HVAC system maintenance, structural repairs, and preventive maintenance. Maintenance Supervisor IV - Lock and Detention Equipment, General Maintenance, and Construction/Facilities Division - Region IV Maintenance (027443) - EXTENDED

Performs highly advanced supervisory maintenance and construction work. Work involves overseeing maintenance and construction staff involved in the installation, care, and repair of state facilities and equipment; and supervising the work of others. Works under minimal supervision with
extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
A. Oversees, supervises, inspects, schedules, assigns, prioritizes, and participates in general
maintenance, construction, and lock and detention equipment repair to include preventive,
corrective, and emergency maintenance; coordinates work assignments with other supervisors
to ensure efficient use of resources; and provides technical expertise.
B. Oversees the preparation of estimates for work hours, materials, and resources required for
projects; approves and initiates requisitions for materials and supplies; and prepares reports
and maintains records of repairs.
C. Trains and supervises inmate maintenance and construction workers; and ensures compliance
with applicable safety rules, regulations, and standards.
D. Assists in maintaining security of assigned inmates.
* Performs a variety of marginal duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed.
III. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education, Experience, and Training
1. Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED.
2. Six years full-time, wage-earning lock and detention equipment maintenance and repair
experience
or
six years full-time, wage-earning electrical, electronics, or millwright experience.
3. Experience in the supervision of inmates preferred.
* Ability to maintain the security and integrity of critical infrastructure as it is defined by state
law.
B. Knowledge and Skills
1. Knowledge of technical and mechanical engineering applications for security and detention equipment.
2. Knowledge of agency and departmental organizational structure, policies, procedures,
rules, and regulations preferred.
3. Skill to communicate ideas and instructions clearly and concisely.
4. Skill to coordinate with other staff, departments, officials, agencies, organizations, and the
public.
5. Skill to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
6. Skill to prepare and maintain accurate records, files, and reports.
7. Skill to review technical data and prepare technical reports.
8. Skill to plan work in order to meet established guidelines.
9. Skill to train and supervise the work of inmates.

A. Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, stoop, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend

What will I be doing?
As a Bartender, you would be responsible for preparing beverages and serving beverages and/or food to guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. * Work with individual students or small groups to develop motor skills and conduct instructional exercises assigned by teacher.
