Information Technology Internships are specifically designed for students who are in the Information Technology field of study or Buckle employees with an IT background with a desire to explore career options. Internships are a paid, 3-4 month part-time position. Information Technology Interns will be placed within a team and will contribute to that team's planned work. Interns may be considered for roles in software development, infrastructure automation, network engineering and quality assurance among others. Interns are expected to learn new methodologies, technologies and skills and follow best practice guidelines in an enterprise environment while gaining experience in their field of study. Education and/or Experience Currently Pursuing an Associate or Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferably in Computer Science. To perform this job successfully, an individual will to have had exposure to several of the following - programming languages, basic coding practices, key web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, operating systems, open source technologies, networking communications and protocols, knowledge of Cisco systems, Linux, browser and mobile device testing, agile development processes.
